Not that I think there has ever been a smart anti-gun protest, because gun grabbers are woefully ignorant on the issue, but this anti-gun/anti-Trump action in NYC is easily the dumbest thing I’ve seen. Basically, some gun/Trump haters mounted a brief protest because they don’t think people should be able to joke around or speak figuratively about guns.
Newsweek reports that brainwashed minions from the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence cult staged a “die-in” in front of one of Donald Trump’s Manhattan skyscrapers. 40 mathematically challenged dipshits laid down in front of the property to show Trump “the 90 Americas who are killed by gun violence each day.”
Trump’s a smart businessman and good with numbers. If you want to show him 90 people, you better show up with 90 people. The Brady drones had less than half of that.
Equally as stupid as 40 morons pretending to 90 dead people is the reason why they were doing it. Back in January, Trump quipped that he could shoot somebody in the middle of the street and not lose any support. He could have just as easily said he could whip out his schlong on the middle of the street and not lose any support, but he didn’t
The point Trump was making is that his supporters are very loyal. Nothing in his statement indicates that he encourages murder or irresponsible gun behavior. He was speaking figuratively.
But you know how anti-gun nuts are. They hear the word gun and lose their shit.
[The protesters] stood up and repeatedly chanted, “Ninety a day, no more, no way!” Some held signs that read, “Hey Trump, gun violence is not a joke,” “Not one more [gun death]” and “Love Trumps hate.”
“We don’t think talking about killing people with a gun is a joke,” said Jonathan Perloe, head lunatic of The Brady Campaign’s Connecticut chapter.
“We can’t have a man running for president who speaks so glibly about shooting people in the street. I’m just sick of hearing all of the violent rhetoric from his campaign. It’s frightening,” cried Robin Frank.
In reality, this protest had nothing to do with the 2nd Amendment and everything to do with the 1st Amendment. This wasn’t anti-gun nuts trying to limit gun rights; it was speech Nazis trying to limit free speech rights. Much like how liberals try to PC up our language by ridding the world of “gendered” terms like “his and hers” they also want to stop people from talking about guns in any context. See, I told you this was dumb.
And in this very dumb protest, somehow how this woman managed to stick out for her stupidity:
“Thinking he can shoot anybody without repercussions, it’s scary. That could be me he shoots at,” said Coney Cinco.
Really? She is worried that Trump is going to gun her down in the street because he made a point about how loyal his supporters are? Perhaps she is too emotionally fragile to be outside the safe confines of a padded cell.
Donald Trump was not present for this asinine protest and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t give a crap what these loonies have to say.
