On July 7 radical black extremist Micah X. Jouhnson shot and killed 5 police officers in Dallas, TX with the expressed purpose of murdering white cops. It was an ambush, it was a hate crime, and it was an act of terrorism. According to Everytown for Gun Safety however, it was none of those things. Billionaire Michael Bloomberg’s gun control group considers the Dallas police massacre to be, of all things, a school shooting.
Last week was the anniversary of the Sandy Hook school shooting. To celebrate the occasion, Everytown for Gun Safety and Moms Demand Action issued a press release stating there have been 200 school shootings in the 3 years since the tragedy in Newton, CT.
The gun control groups use a very liberal definition of what constitutes a school shooting, including suicides, attempted suicides, gang and drug related arguments, and pretty much any incident in which a gun was fired near a school. In addition, almost everything they counted occurred on or near a college or university.
None of these is as ridiculous as the July 7 El Centro College “school shooting” in Dallas, TX:
Yeah, that’s the same shooting where a black radical gunned down 5 police officers. For the record, Micah Johnson shot the police officers on a Dallas street near the community college. He later fled into an empty building on the El Centro campus in which no students or faculty were shot. After a standoff, police used an explosive remote-controlled robot to blow Johnson up. I’m surprised Everytown doesn’t also call this a “school bombing.”
Bearing Arms did a detailed audit of the 200 school shootings claimed by the gun control group and found that there have actually only been 44 school shootings since Sandy Hook. Despite this fact, every news outlet in the country ran stories about the falsely claimed 200 school shootings. This is from the same media that pretends to be outraged by “fake news” and yet they had no problem running a fake news story.
At the time of the shooting, Obama downplayed the deaths of 5 police officers, equating it to the justified police shootings of armed black criminals. A couple of weeks ago the Southern Poverty Law Center called the Dallas police ambush an act of right-wing extremist hate. They included the actions of a leftist black nationalist on a list of radical right terror plots. Now we have a notoriously full of shit gun control group claiming this terrorist hate crime was actually a school shooting.
If you are drinking the mind-altering liberal Kool-Aid, you are left with this: When a radical black leftist shot and killed 5 police officers in Dallas it was a right-wing extremist school shooting that wasn’t a big deal because cops sometimes have to use deadly force on armed black criminals.
