Ann Coulter: The Tea Party Is Being Taken Over By Con Men

On the fifth anniversary of the Tea Party, Ann Coulter made an appearance on Hannity last night to discuss the movement.

“Well, there are two ways of looking at it,” Coulter said. “The people out in America who call themselves Tea Partiers are fantastic. They’re the heart of America and I think they’ve made a huge difference. They did in the 2010 elections which, in the House anyway, Republicans picked up more seats than they did in the famous 1994 election. That was a huge win.”

“But we also lost a lot of Senate seats,” she continued. “And unfortunately I think as with any grass roots movement, I think there are a lot of con men and scamsters tricking good Americans into sending them money, claiming ‘We are fighting for you’ and they aren’t fighting for you.”

Ann Coulter then noted that anyone who claims to be going after establishment Republicans is a “rich” Tea Party activist who should be suspect.

“The key word there is ‘Republican’,” she noted. “That means the media won’t get on their back and look at their finances. And it also means Republican — if we don’t elect Republicans — I don’t care which Republican — we will not repeal ObamaCare.”

Have a look at the video below.

  • FactsAreBackk

This loud skank is full of bull manure… it was the RHINO’s that betrayed the party when they could have defunded ObongoCare… the GOP needs to UNITE to fight the dictator and his corrupt stooge “Roid” Reid.

    • cloudy dayz

i will continue laughing at you while your head explodes. I love America. The only place where people get upset over a president that tries to look out for the common man!

      • FactsAreBackk

“Daze” is appropriate… you are what is called a moronic sheep… you buy the crap Obunga feeds you without question… his lies are all “mistakes” his crimes are all “necessary” his refusals to obey his oath and the laws of our country are “understandable” His utter failure and incompetence as a leader is “Bush’s fault”… PS: You sad maggot, the poor and blacks are doing far worse under this clown that ever before… wake up… and shut up.

        • cloudy dayz

name a single crime he has committed. (and btw, feel free to come shut me up yourself) what the fck do you know about facts anyway? aren’t you a conservative? Conservatives don’t comprehend facts. change your screen name, dumb ass.

          • koko

Don’t confuse conservatives with facts, their small mind are made up.

          • koolhed

The liberal mind is such a true waste of protoplasm. Once more, for you life-long Democrats… The Tea Party has TWO simple principles: Government is TOO BIG and the US Constitution needs to be followed EVERY TIME. No excuses!

Now, what’s your excuse for being ignorant of those facts for the last five years?

          • luigi loiola

Where was the Constitution when Bush rammed thru the Patriot Act, which broke at least half a dozen facets of the Constitution or the illegal war in Iraq and Afghanistan?

          • maybefree

#1 Bush wasn’t a conservative. #2 The first Tea rally was Dec 16,2007 with Ron Paul.
So where are you now that Obama made the Patriot act a permanent law with no sunset? Or his illegal war in Libya under the United Nations or his numerous changes to the ACA which is a tax law? So he’s giving big corp and businesses tax exemptions and the middle class none. Or when Reid enacted the nuclear action in the senate? You are a hypocrite. You only care when it’s not your party in charge.

          • Marie218

OBAMA created the Patriot Act? Seriously, I could have sworn it was GW Bush, with the agreement of both houses of Congress, in 2002…as well as the Homeland Security Act, and I don’t recall they were set to “disappear” at any point in time, either……NSA meanwhile has been in existence since the late 1940′s.

          • onceproudamerican

Bush was AWFUL, but Obama is worse, and when do illegal acts by a past president serve as a defends fro illegal acts by the current president. BTW – many have pointed out that if judged by policy, this administration is the third term of the Bush presidency…

          • sabiki54

They feel that since Bush was white it was alright.

          • William Hofmeister

Again, if the Patriot Act was so bad, why didn’t the Democrats repeal it when they had the House, the Senate, and the White House? Why did the majority of them vote for it under Bush and continue it under Obama?

          • dc2ndtest

RUSS Feingold VOTED AGAINST THE PATRIOT ACT EVEN THOUGH IT COST HIM HIS US SENATE SEAT. NOT ONE SINGLE REPUBLICAN OR CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN US SENATOR DID.
As Christ said, “by their acts You shall know them. THE GOP and their hoplessly ignorant, Koch lobotomized tea Party legions have created the most corrupt/stupid political party this nation has ever seen.

          • William Hofmeister

Again, the point was, if the patriot act was so bad, why did the Democrats not repeal it when they had the House, the Senate, and the White House. Apparently, they are just fine with it. All your rambling isn’t going to change the fact that they could have repealed it, but didn’t want to.

          • LOUFONTINATO

51% of Democrats don’t know that the earth revolves around the sun once a year.

          • FactsAreBackk

Meth addict nigras tend to rant… what is your addy… be glad to drop by and drop your dumb ass.

          • SargintRock

Trust me, Mr. Tough Guy. Your Graduation is fast approaching!!!

      • SargintRock

You are so full of Bravo Sierra that I have surmised that you are a card carrying subversive operative. A pox on you and all of your ilk!!!

        • usbworks

Surmised? Pox on you? Ilk? No real American talks like that anymore. You must be at least 70 years old. No one cares what you think now and no one will miss you when you’re gone in a few years.

          • Marie218

OK< bashing someone because of their perceived age and ability to speak English above a 4th grade level is unfair and stupid……

      • LOUFONTINATO

You mean he tries to look out for the common communist.

      • SargintRock

How did that work out for the Lenin and Stalin supporters. I’ve got your number now, Chump! You seem intelligent on some issues and then show your brainwashed sensibilities about the NWO puppet man “OBOZO’!!!

  • Denver Kitty

The “Senate Conservative Fund” does nothing. They are a sham for collecting money and doing nothing. Ann’s right. We ALL need to vote Tea Party, keep the Congress right wing, and take over the Senate. Vote the libs, dems, and RINOs out! God bless the U.S.A.

    • cloudy dayz

yeah revolution!!!! Down with those teachers, and firefighters and police! Let’s deport all Mexicans! Forget health care, I love being robbed by insurance companies! Forget a minimum wage, let’s just force people to work for third world wages. Better yet, let’s just bring back slavery! Awesome!

fck the tea party and everything you stand for.

      • Bob

Amen Brother!!!!!!!!! Fascist need to go!

        • koolhed

No fair using the word FASCIST when you haven’t the slightest clue of what it means.

          • FactsAreBackk

Hard to argue with libroid douchebags like these… they support Obongo and his pathetic, corrupt, socialist regime… must be welfare drones, illegals or simple morons. Who else would?

          • koko

fascism means a government characterized by dictatorship, belligerent nationalism and racism. Did I just describe the Tea Party?

          • Boydnar

You just described the Democrat party. The Defocrats are extremely authoritarian — to the point of being dictatorial, they are belligerent toward anything Euro-Anglo-Saxon and are exceedingly racist while accusing everyone else of racism.

          • koko

The Democrats and Republicans switched ideologies.

          • Dale

REALLY, wasn’t it a totally rep WH and congress that passed the unconstitutional law called the Patriot Act? HMMMM!!!!! And wasn’t it reps that tried to pass the bill in Arizona that would allow business owners the right to discriminate against anyone? Why are those on the right so obsessed with who their neighbor is sleeping with? I know I have enough other problems in my life to worry about trivial things like that. I think if there is a GOD he’s big enough to fight that battle for himself and he doesn’t need any help from mear mortals. And as I recall he said “thou shalt not judge”, but that’s exactly what the right wants written into law- the right to judge others and in the eyes of GOD that makes you people just as bad as those you’re trying to make these law against.

          • William Hofmeister

If Democrats are so against the Patriot Act, why didn’t they repeal it when they had the house, the senate, and the white house? Did you even read the Arizona bill before misquoting everything it said? And before quoting the bible you should try reading it, it is telling you not to judge hypocritically. We obviously have to judge people everyday from job interviews to juries. I bet you voted for Obama, twice.

          • Dale

FASCIST: a way of organizing a society in which a government ruled by a dictator controls the lives of the people and in which people are not allowed to disagree with the government / / / As I recall this started in the american government in 2003 when Bush was in office and anyone that disagreed was considered a terrorist after the Patriot Act was passed, just how Unconstitutional is that? But not ONE F__N PEEP OUT OF THE PEOPLE ON THE RIGHT FOR 5YRS, NOT ONE! Why now? Wasn’t it bad enough when Bush was in office? 2 wars, the Patriot Act, $4-a-gal gas and all of the skt-rocketing prices it caused. The problem with Tea Party is their just another form of the republican party and they have way to many of those extreme right beliefs. When they were formed around 2008 I laughed when people like Ann Kolter, Bill O’Reilly, Hannity, Limbaugh and a whole lot of other republicans totally disgarded them saying that they weren’t reps and were actually some lunatic leftest fringe group? Now everyone of them embraces the Tea Party and some even try and act like they’re responsable for them being here. AHHH Hollywood couldn’t make up shit this good!!! And for the record I started out in 1977 as a registered rep and by 1992 the rep party had moved so far to the right I was then by definition considered a blue dog dem, but they’ve all but disappeared and now I’m standing here in the middle and there’s no one else around!

          • onceproudamerican

‘Extreme’ beliefs like the Founding Fathers had??

      • SargintRock

Don’t you ever get tired of mouthing the Party line, acting like a toady apologist for the Corrupt Cartel now in power. When is the last time you read the Constitution and Bill of Rights? Don’t you feel like a total hypocrite when you look in the mirror, knowing you screamed for Bush’s head but now carry water for this despicable Regime? SHAME on YOU and all your ilk for confusing the Sheeple!

        • cloudy dayz

SarginRock, idk if that was for me, or someone else, but I’ll say this. I identify with NO party. I’m independent. IMO, the Dems and Repubs are like the bloods and crips. Neither side is good. I am a liberal, yes, but on social issues. If the tea party wasn’t so insane, I’d actually give them credit, because even though we couldn’t agree that water is wet, I DO AGREE that the government spends too much money. They don’t have a blank check, but they behave like they do. But yet, the Tea Party spends too much time with propaganda and rhetoric. Talking about socialism, the fall of America…blah blah blah it’s all just hot air. And people are tired of it, tired of just hearing complaints, but not solutions. And tired of the fact that they can’t compromise. You can scream bloody murder all you want, but NOTHING in this country will be accomplished without compromise. Nothing.

          • Boydnar

What you don’t get, klowdy-headed and dazed, is that to libtards, demorats and the entire liberal media, the word “compromise” ALWAYS means that we conservatives must compromise OUR values and policies in THEIR direction. It NEVER means that THEY will EVER compromise THEIR values and policies in OUR direction.
To libtards, “compromise” means that conservatives must cave in.
            PHUQUE THAT.
Liberals and socialists need to leave America and move to a country that already lives by the socialist, collectivist values that they so love. There are plenty of socialist “utopias” already in existence for libs to move to. There’s no point in turning America into yet one more socialist hell where misery is spread equally.
America is about individualism — NOT SOCIALISM. It is INDIVIDUALISM and FREE ENTERPRISE that have made America the greatest country in the world. And that’s why hardcore leftists HATE America: because it’s THE undeniable, incontrovertible and absolutely total refutation of their God-hating, collectivist ideology.
Liberals, “progressives,” socialists and leftists need to GET THE HELL OUT OF AMERICA.

          • cloudy dayz

i don’t hate God, I just hate assholes that write comments that are way too long to read (meaning i pretty much ignored 75% of what you wrote…dont u feel better now?) who has time for that?

          • Boydnar

Yep. You just proved that any thought that won’t fit on a bumper sticker is too long and too sophisticated for your mind. Glad you were able to join the discussion.

          • cloudy dayz

it’s not really the length Boydnar. It’s the idea that you think sophistication means that bigotry is “All American” and greed is “free markets”. You’re just one of those people who has their mind made up and it won’t be changed. You’re disagreeable on the most BASIC of topics. Why can’t you simply just agree on the obvious? You’re not changing your mind, and neither am I. So please. Pretty please. I ask you nicely. Kindly fuck off and stop littering my inbox with reply notifications. Or, write me directly into my email box. And I promise no insults. I actually wouldn’t mind a one on one conversation. Perhaps you’d make more sense directly. Good day. Good life.

          • Mark

Wrong, I did read it and it really was full of hot air

          • joe

You must be a slow reader. It took me all of 30 seconds to read his comment.

          • pksk531

SO when the recent budget agreement gave the republicans 70% of what they wanted, the Democrats did not compromise? The problem has been the Republican hostage holding of the past in order to get almost everything they want without any compromise. The Democrats have gotten tired of it. 95% of the deficit was incurred BEFORE January 2009 – that means the interest we owe was incurred mostly by Republicans. A Republican President and Congress spent like there was no tomorrow. Fiscal responsibility only became their catchphrase when they lost Congress in 2007.

          • William Hofmeister

Pretty much wrong on everything you said.

          • rangerider

Oh great liar, please share with us the 70% the republicans got :-)

We can see by your language that you’re all about democracy and working together. We know we can trust you when you slash every program for our elderly and our children, yet do nothing about your own party’s spending habits. We have no reason to trust you. You barely know what or who founded this country, much less how to run it. Your constant harangue about others leaving the country that we fought for, died for and love, shows you know absolutely NOTHING about America. Sit down. watch and learn. We are not a tyranny, no matter how bad you want it.

          • Corpseman57

Have you gone grocery shopping lately? Bought gas? It isn’t the Republicans who are forcing people into poverty. It’s the FASCIST libprog regulations.

          • Chris Gattman

I’m a conservative, but, is that what you think you’re going to do? Force them to get the hell out of America? How’d that work out in 2008 and 2012.

JACKWAGONS LIKE YOU ARE WHY REPUBLICANS KEEP LOSING. YOU DON’T WIN ELECTIONS BY MAKING PEOPLE HATE YOU, FOOL!!!

Those are brave words for a mental midget, you gutless, limp-wristed coward. We will force you to leave in the next civil war. It’s going to be a mass forced exile. We are pissed off beyond your comprehension and once it starts, we’re gonna fix a lot of things that weren’t even involved in getting it started.

It’s a sad fact that many descendants of Real Americans are flatly Un-American and don’t deserve to be here.

“Free” enterprise, he says. Right, let’s see. Free enterprise built the railroads with government funding and land. Free enterprise built cars and trucks, that are driven on roads and highways paid for by government. We are commenting on an Internet website, which came from the government’s DARPANET. We eat food approved for human consumption by federal government inspectors. We pay for our purchases with money issued by the government. Really, for just one month I’d like all who believe in ‘free enterprise” to live without any government interference in their lives. I want to see how long they’d last.

          • Don Aitken

“INDIVIDUALISM and FREE ENTERPRISE that have made America the greatest country in the world.”
This is your problem America so far behind the rest of the world that you actually believe your first. Grow up and and dig yourself out of your Ignorance.

          • onceproudamerican

The solutions you are interested in are supposed to be created by the States. Read Federalist #45 to help you understand. It is the ignorance of the average American about what our law is that contributes to the frustration you shared…sadly most in Congress are just as ignorant!

            “The powers delegated by
            the proposed Constitution to the
federal government, are few and defined. Those which are to remain in
            the State
governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised
principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation, and
            foreign
commerce; with which last the power of taxation will, for the most
            part, be
connected. The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all
            the
objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives,
            liberties,
and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and
            prosperity of the State.”

          • Calamity

Yes, and you can go back to tallow candles and stripping your own hides. The world has changed. The style of government that Jefferson wanted was abandoned 20 years after he wrote it. It was an experiment that didn’t work, like Trickle-down and Conservationism. They just don’t work. Look, I know change id tough. Conservative are old and don’t think they should do anything new. I know you’re all scared. Maybe it’s time to turn it over to someone with a little courage now?

          • libertyanyday

            1. do whatever you want to, just pay for it yourself

            2. live where you get the ‘ benefit’ of what you have asked the government to do to/for u.

Just remember, man doesnt do anything ‘ new ‘ , everything is ALWAYS a repeat of history, ALWAYS. This is why the american experiment will end like the mayan’s , aztecs, romans. To prove my point , you probably dont think america will ever disappear!!!! LIV’s are amazing.

          • bworei

You are an arrogant, ignorant fool. Supply-side economics doesn’t work? Only if you allow leftist propaganda to shape your perspective, I suppose. Surprised you’re down on “Conservationism,” though. Thought you rubes were all about conservation. ;-)

          • Mark

You assume, incorrectly, that because people disagree that surely they must be leftists. Utter BS.

          • bworei

Except I never called him/her/it a leftist. Take your foot out of your mouth and try again.

          • VerityHeld

Dude. It . . . actually, you’re right. It does work. For the ultra-rich. For Americans as a whole, for the world as a whole, it doesn’t, but yes, it does work for a select few. Which however does not mean it’s right.

          • bworei

And you don’t have sh-t to back that up.

          • VerityHeld

No I don’t have sh-t to back that up. I do have the IMF itself saying the increasing wealth gap is worrying, but no, but no, you’re right, I don’t have sh-t. Heck, I don’t even speak sh-t! So yes, when it comes to sh-t, you’ve got that all over . . . yourself.

          • bworei

The IMF? THE IMF?! That’s all you’ve got? Thanks for making my point, fool.

          • RightTurn

            Stunning ignorance.

          • J. Griffin

Extremely well explained, oneproudamerican. I genuinely appreciate your lack of ad hominem attacks and your sticking to just plain facts, without opinion. Quite refreshing!

          • William Hofmeister

To liberals compromise means doing it their way. If they actually understood the meaning of the word, things might get better. On virtually every issue it is the Democrats who refuse to compromise.

Once we lose control of the internet the libprogs can shut down any opposition to their authoritarian takeover of the country.

If the libprogs were smart–which they aren’t–they would see they are being used. One day they will emerge from their stupor and realize it.

You don’t like the government spending too much – well what do you think they’re spending too much on? Welfare, food stamps, Medicaid, giving these to illegal aliens, Obama’s vacations and Michelle’s, advertising Obamacare, creating a website for Obamacare that doesn’t work (till today it doesn’t work right) or how about taking a look at your email, phone records etc. These are the issues the Tea Party cares about and most come under the heading of socialism. If you don’t think America has lost its first place position in the world I have to ask you to get your head out of the sand – you’re not an ostrich.

What you find to be propaganda and rhetoric, others may view as expressing their opinions. We can disagree- we need not be childish. Lots can be accomplished without compromise and much of it is not good- only an exercise of power by the majority. In a constitutional republic, individual rights are protected against the tyranny of the majority.

There are only three principles that the TEA Party stands for: Constitutionally limited government, fiscal responsibility, and free markets. What about any of those are you against?

        • cloudy dayz

@onceproudamerican:disqus, your reply sounds reasonable on the surface. But what i’m against is the shroud/lies of your idealism. “limited government” doesn’t sound like such a bad thing…until you guys show that in reality, you want NO government at all. With no government, your “free markets” are just a cover up to unlimited corporate powers to pollute the environment. I am NOT a tree hugger man!!! I just don’t want to drink water and breathe air that will kill me. I can’t understand why wanting reasonable environmental protections makes me a communist/socialist evil America hater. Fiscal responsibility? Hey, I’m ALL FOR THAT. But the only thing conservatives see as fiscally responsible is demonizing the poor/needy among us. How can you propose to be a man of God, yet you hate the poor? COMPLETE contradiction of biblical teachings. I happen to think the government wastes a lot of money too. And I’m also for free markets, but with checks and balances and reasonable limits. And therein lies your problem. You don’t believe in limits. You think it’s “free market” for banks to charge $5 or $6 for an ATM fee. Meanwhile, you support monopolies that eliminate choices. THAT’S freedom? No sir. Either way, you sound reasonable. If you’d like to continue this discussion, inbox me. You seem a little more reasonable than some of the others on this board.

          • MoreFreedom2

“With no government, your ‘free markets’ are just a cover up to unlimited corporate powers to pollute the environment.”

Governments are instituted among men to protect our lives, property, liberty and pursuit of happiness. That means when someone pollutes your property the government protects your property by allowing you to sue the perpetrator for compensation, if not arresting and jailing them for doing so.

That is limited government: limited to protecting you, your property, and your freedom. Unlimited government would be the way we’re going where government makes all decisions about what can and cannot be done in all areas of personal and economic decisions.

          • Mark

That might have worked during the period of Hobbes but you cant expect 21st century society to live by a doctrine centuries old. Would you go back to wooden ships too.

Cloudy makes a good point on NOT wanting to die from bad water. And the government letting us sue them is beyond laughable? really? you think you could take on BP and win, good luck with that.

          • MoreFreedom2

The system the founders of the USA gave us worked very well for over 100 years. I suppose you could make an exception for the Civil War due to the death and destruction, but it did free the slaves.

Frankly, I think the burden is on you to explain why rules like don’t hurt others or take their stuff, should be abandoned because it’s a “doctrine centuries old.”

And regarding your opinion that taking on BP in court is “beyond laughable” it’s certainly much easier than taking on the government in court. And as I recall a legal clerk who wasn’t trained in law, took on PG&E and won in a court of law, by the name of Erin Brokovich, for harm PG&E pollution caused. Jurors, who are our peers, will see that justice is done. And it only takes one successful suit against a polluter to get the other polluters to clean up their act.

          • Corpseman57

Libprogs think Democrat politicians should have unlimited freedom to destroy our freedoms.

        • pksk531

Limited government? Then why all of the laws restricting women’s rights and voting rights?

          • onceproudamerican

Because we don’t have a government that obeys the Constitution. Read Federalist #45 to understand just how insignificant the federal government is supposed to be. BTW – there are no such things as ‘women’s rights’ because only individuals have rights and no individual has any more rights than another. Any law that gives preference to race/religion/or sex is unconstitutional.

          • pksk531

Then any law, by your reasoning, that RESTRICTS the rights of a few are also illegal. AKA a law that allows men to be paid more or that allows men to tell women what to do with their bodies or tells people whom they love. Only a few decades ago it was illegal for whites to marry blacks. Those laws were struck down as unconstitutional as they restricted peoples rights. Same with laws restricting a woman from making decisions about HER OWN body. I am STILL a proud American.

          • Scent Ofreason

Tell that to all those women who didn’t get the right to vote until 1920. That is embarrassingly too recent. You don’t live in reality – otherwise you would understand that we, as a nation, had to pass a constitutional amendment (the 19th), so that the 50% of ‘individuals have rights no individual has any more rights’ wasn’t being practiced here in our find country.

        • LOUFONTINATO

FREE MARKETS BALDERDASH. THE TEA PARTY IS A CONSERVATIVE MOVEMENT NOT A CLUB FOR LEFTIST KISSING FAT CATS.

        • Scent Ofreason

The Free Market. I’m against that completely. Do you know what a Free Market really is? It’s Monopolies, it’s Fiefdoms, it’s the dark ages. Without regulation of the market, we would be screwed. Look at what just happened, our entire economy almost collapsed because we de-regulated the banks – and the abused the system, screwed us over, and laughed all the way to the bank (literally, cuz it’s THEIR bank). You really want a ‘Free’ market??? I don’t think you know what that means.

          • onceproudamerican

Obviously you need to study economics – a monopoly is the opposite of a free market.

          • Scent Ofreason

Truly free markets result in monopolies. Without anti-trust regulations there would only be one airline, one cable provider, one restaurant chain, and Walmart (or maybe just Walmart). The only place ‘competition’ can exist is in a economic model with government regulations.

          • MoreFreedom2

In a free market, government created cartels and monopolies (where you have to get government approval to enter the business) don’t exist.

The free market is a far better regulator of business.

Matt Welch summarizes this at http://reason.com/archives/2011/02/07/the-c-word

“December saw the passing of a great American: the academic and bureaucrat Alfred E. Kahn, father of airline deregulation. Kahn was a liberal Democrat who, after applying rigorous study to the impact of federal regulation on industry, came to the conclusion that in many cases regulation served to raise prices, blunt innovation, form government-sanctioned industrial cartels, and discriminate against new businesses. The market, not the government, was the most effective tool to discipline big business,
because corporations that punished their customers were doomed to failure. In short, Kahn understood that misguided regulation produced exactly what Robert F. Kennedy Jr. claims to despise: big business and government entwined in unholy corporatism.”

          • Corpseman57

Libprogs are for NO LIMITS ON GOVERNMENT CONTROL OF OUR LIVES.

          • Scent Ofreason

So government (that is made up of elected Americans) should have no control of our lives, but Big Business should be able to have all the control they want? Is that what you are saying? Just want to make sure that a minimum wage, safety laws, 40hr work week, etc are all things you think are bad and should be done away with in the name of the Free Market.

          • Mark

You clearly have little to contribute to a real debate; at least the others have arguments; even the ones I disagree with are well spoken – your the type that costs the conservatives any chance of being elected.

          • RightTurn

Sorry…not sure how I ended up on this site and I promise to never come back on purpose, but the colossal ignorance expressed by several of the posters here boggles the mind. Scent of irrationality proudly wears her economic ignorance like a badge of honor. Not going to waste much time on this but one little tidbit to think about. Government digging moats for businesses is NOT free market. That is cronyism.

          • Scent Ofreason

Please defend a business ‘monopoly’. That is the end goal of the free market. One company will put all others out of business. But our government (that’s us by the way) says monopolies are illegal. Why? Because it’s bad for society. So please, present you arguments why the government should not impose a single regulation on any business, and why monopolies should be allowed to flourish.

        • Scent Ofreason

Limited government is an oxymoron. We wouldn’t have government if the people in our society didn’t force us to. No crime = no cops. But people commit crime. No dirty restaurants/clean slaughter houses = no health inspectors. But people wouldn’t keep their business clean without the threat of health inspection. It’s not big government you hate, it’s cheaters, scumbags, dishonest business practices of the private sector that you hate. Without the bad element in our society government would be tiny indeed.

          • MoreFreedom2

“people wouldn’t keep their business clean without the threat of health inspection”

You are mistaken. The free market is a more demanding regulator than the government from the consumer’s point of view. Government regulators are often captured by the industry and result in government created cartels, inhibitions to innovation, and rules like required bank fees at ATMs.

Apparently you would do business with people that don’t keep their business clean, rather than doing business with those that show they keep a clean business. And it doesn’t take government to prove it: often companies arise that give thier seal of approval (Good Housekeeping, UL, Consumer Reports, etc.) to businesses/products, and who depend on their reputation to remain in business.

People who cheat their customers soon go out of business, while those who strive to provide good products/services remain. With government making the rules, often it’s those in the business who prevent better competitors from entering the business or selling better products.

        • Calamity

How about that you DON’T DO ANY OF THEM! You talk a good game, but push come to shove , you either stop government altogether, costing us billions, or you simple rat out to the old guard republicans borrow from China and spend on the rich. It’s not that you don’t have any backbone, it’s that your idiots about how you do it!

          • onceproudamerican

You are obviously not thinking for yourself as there are not enough folks who support the TEA Party in office to force any issue as TEA Party folks are less than 10% of those in Congress. However there were enough Dems in office to force unconstitutional Obamacare down our throats without even knowing what they were voting for and drastically disrupt the health care system for many millions of Americans.

          • MoreFreedom2

“you either stop government altogether, costing us billions”

Getting rid of government doesn’t “cost us billions”, it saves us the cost of the bureaucrats and their spending.

        • Chris Gattman

What I’m against about the Tea Party is that it’s also allowed itself to become out gays, immigrants, abortion… If you disagree with them on any one element they shun you, and when they shun people, people don’t voted for them because people come to hate them, which is why CONSERVATIVES LOST SO MANY ELECTIONS AND THE DEMOCRATS ARE RUINING AMERICA.

        • Marie218

And, of course, a deep seated, obsessive hatred of the man whose skin is too dark: Obama.

        • Bob K

If you mf’ers would quit yelling this constantly in everyone’s face and listen to someone else’s ideas, someone might agree with you. To me the noise you make sounds like constitutionally limited government (not for your, but for those that do NOT agree with you), fiscal responsibility (for things you do NOT want to spend money on), and free markets (except for your business, of course).

      • William Hofmeister

        Moron

      • Patricia Robertson

That is what the fear is now, the republicans and teaparty is so afraid that the president is going to take his pen ,paper, phone, and put them slavery and their won’t be a thing they can do about it. They know it that the whites did it to blacks and they are so afraid that the president is way smarter than they are can find loop holes and do it to them. The president has no desire to make slaves of them, if he did, he would have done so on day, just like they made plans to work against him, impeach him, make him a one term president, make him resign. All they did was work against themselves, everything they did turned around and backfired on them. One by one they all have gone by the wayside and the president is still standing strong. All the things you want to do away with you will be begging for the minute you think you will lose them. It is easy to say get rid of something knowing you have people who will fight to make sure that you don’t lose it but one day we all might get fool. Look what happen in 2010 when those didn’t vote, look at all the women rights that have been taken from them but the one thing it did was open their eyes to the truth and they came out in 2012, republicans, democrats, indpendents, white, blacks and all miniorties that are register voters came out to vote. 2014 will be the same way and 2016. If republicans want those votes and win the white house 2016 they need to make a huge change and right now it is not in the card.

        • Chris Gattman

“The President is still standing strong”. BWAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!! Check the polls!! TELL IT TO THE UKRAINIANS! Wow.

Teachers, firefighters, and police– all should be locally funded at the levels their community can afford/chooses to afford. Not Federal Government issues. We have always had healthcare – universal, if uneven. What we have now is government dictated insurance. Same number of people getting the same illnesses and injuries – who pays has shifted- what is paid will not change. Minimum wage – if that’s all you strive for, you shouldn’t expect to live the high-life. No one advocates slavery- certainly not anyone I know that wants increased personal responsibility and freedom, and smaller government and lower taxes. These were the principles of the revolution that led to the founding of this country. Yeah! Awesome!

And thank for keeping the discussion at a high-level.

Speak up we’re having trouble hearing you. Oh that’s right we should all be able to choose which parts of the U.S. Constitution have validity and are therefore enforceable and worthy of following.
Again please point out to us which part of the U. S. Constitution is valid.
By the way, my time in the armed forces provided protection for your ability to contest things you may not agree with. You know the 1st Amendment (~ freedom of speech). No thanks needed I was happy to serve you and every other citizen of this great country.

No, not even N. Korea which is a dictatorship run by one family, now led by the third generation of that family……

      • SargintRock

You realize, of course, that in 1776 you would be Tarred and Feathered for being a Red Coat sympathiser! All you Trendys mouthing the Party Line with no concept of our TRUE History and what the Constitution stands for are a festering Blemish on the face of American Liberty!!!

        • usbworks

You’re a genius! I’ve seen people try to win an argument by arguing that it would never happen in Texas. But arguing that it would never happen in 1776, that is brilliant! Why stop there? You can argue that it would never happen on the moon a million years ago because according to the Bible it didn’t exist back then.

        • Chris Gattman

You damned well better not mean “sergeant” in your username, kid.

    • Chris Gattman

Yay, America! Republicans can’t win an election by appealing to the American middle, no leftist is ever going to vote for them… So gee, let’s run even further to the right and see if THAT works as well as it did last time.

The Tea Party are the best political friends the Democrats have, because they’re WHY LIBERALS KEEP WINNING ELECTIONS. STOP HELPING THEM HURT AMERICA.

    • MoreFreedom2

Really? What RINOs is the Senate Conservative Fund supporting?

It’s Rove’s PAC, American Crossroads, that is endorsing RINOs. And so is the RNC.

    • cloudy dayz

You don’t even know what the hell you’re talking about. Obama tried to get a jobs bill passed, that the Republicans denied. You should be mad at your leadership. But you’re too busy Obama-hating to see that. He tried to pass an infrastructure repair jobs plan. Tea Partiers united in screaming “we hate paved roads, and bridges that don’t fall down! We love broken damns and water mains. And highways? We hate smooth highways too!” Do you Tea Baggers have ANY rational logical thoughts? Or has your Obama hate just driven you batshit crazy?

      • Sam

Obama has never had a jobs bill, other than the programs that fill his cronies’ pockets.

        • cloudy dayz

ummm, ONCE AGAIN, a commenter that refuses the truth. Sorry Sam. $60 billion dollar infrastructure bill submitted in November 2011, shot down, 51-49, 60 votes needed, EVERY GOP member voted no. EVERY MEMBER. But then they say Obama isn’t trying to create jobs. Those were good paying construction jobs. Sam, you can’t have it both ways. Just stop lying. It’s not Obama. It’s the GOP. If Obama personally came up with the cure for cancer, they’d accuse him of trying to sabotage drug companies. If he personally cured homelessness, they’d say he was trying to destroy the “homeless shelter industry”. They literally cause the problems, and then blame him. You really want to debate the legitimacy of that? Really?

          • FactsAreBackk

His “Jobs” bill had more pork in it that the transvestite Michelle’s big ass.

          • cloudy dayz

oh how funny, didn’t you say he had no jobs bill? forget if it’s “porky” or not…you DID write that he had NO bill, at all right? oh but now you say “his jobs bill”. You’re chasing your own tail. The dangers of inbreeding….on full display…

He could eat a dog and his supporters would shrug their shoulders. Oh wait!!! He did that already.
And his stimulus gave money to campaign bundlers. Hell he could of at least built a dam or something. Good thing his jobs council laughed when he states shovel ready wasn’t as shovel ready as he thought. But isn’t it interesting that the owner of G.E. was part of his jobs council. The same one that had record profits and was exempted from taxes? The same one that had the help of Pelosi and Reid to outlaw cheap lightbulbs under Bush, than send all his factories for poison mercury light bulbs to China?
And here’s a light bulb for you. Government creates NOTHING!!! I know that’s a shock but they can only take out of the system. They wouldn’t even exist without taxpayer money. So how can taking water from one side of the pool and putting it into the other side fill the pool? Taking money from the system and putting it back in does nothing but shut down the existing system. Government doesn’t create wealth, they steal from it.

          • onceproudamerican

Where is any authority for an ‘infrastructure bill’ enumerated in the Constitution? Read Federalist #45 to understand just how unimportant the federal government is supposed to be under the Constitution.
“The State governments may be regarded as constituent and essential parts of the federal government; whilst the latter is nowise essential to the operation or organization of the former.”

          • Marie218

the law of the land, at that point in time, also allowed women to have few rights and no votes, blacks (even free blacks) ditto….don’t you think a FEW things have changed since the 18th century????

          • DavidTrock

Of Course they voted against it. All it was another pork laden stimulus bill like the $780 billion one they passed in 2009 that obama said would be used for jobs, and infrastructure. What a boondoggle that was. Don’t try to use that five million jobs lie they used during the 2012 election.
Also, one of the reasons no one heard most conservatives who were just as upset with Bush as they are with you daddy is because no one could hear them above the screaming and whining of the libs all over the msm. The same msm that failed to properly vette obama, and gives him a pass on his complete incompetence in a job that is so far above his intelligence it makes Daffy Duck look like an Einstein.
I’ve read a bunch of your comments on here today, and most are full of lies, and half truths. The rest, you just made up as you went.

      • FactsAreBackk

Ann Coulter has made a lot of money feeding exaggerated fears and resentments about the Democrats and about Obama in particular. She has been known to provoke controversy for its own sake, even at the expense of the Republican party–as when she said that Putin had “made a monkey” of Obama. I think that she resents OTHER con artists cashing in on and tarnishing the Republican Party’s reputation (such as it is) for good sense.

  • Tony C

I LOVE the TPotty – it saved the US Senate for the Dems in the last election and will do so again. It guarantees a Democratic President next time around. And it shows that the far right are clearly more interested in the destruction of this country than they are anything else. Dems have no fear. We don’t have to do a thing. The TPotty fools will do the work for us. Thanks TPotty – you aren’t totally useless after all!

    • Samcro Charming

of course, spoken by a man who has never been to a tea party meeting.

but TONY C can tell you all about what i and other TEA PARTY members stand for. this is why america is dying. people like TONY C who believe whats handed them without question.

it takes MONEY to be a democrat and support the party.

its takes MONEY to be a republican and support the party.

it takes MONEY for the TEA PARTY to forward petitions, pay for legal issues and representation, pay for permits and facilities to have meetings and rallies. that takes DONATIONS!!

funny when the dumocrats are squaking about money they NEVER hammer their own for taking GEORGE SOROS and all the billions he and the hollywood elite shovel to them in every election and fund raiser. thats ok.

but, if a republican or conservative or the tea party [made up of conservatives, blacks, whites, hispanics, democrats, independants [like myself] gets any donation its EVIL and unfair and MUST BE STOPPED!!

my grandmother [ life long democrat] told me over and over as a young kid, BEWARE OF THOSE WHO TELL YOU TO STAY AWAY, DONT INVESTIGATE, DONT TALK TO THEM, GET RID OF THEM, IGNORE THEM. THOSE WHO DO THAT ARE HIDING SOMETHING. AND ITS THINGS THAT WILL HURT YOU OR WORSE. THE ONLY GOOD OPINION IS AN INFORMED OPINION. DONT RUN AWAY OR LET ANYONE TALK YOU OUT OF BECOMING INFORMED.

notice how the dem/progressive/liberals want the repubs and conservatives to just go away! trying to get conservative talk off the air and the internet? now obama has asked his henchmen in the IRS to step on ALL the conservative and grass roots organizations and 501 groups BEFORE the mid term election to shut down their voices? hos is that constitutional aka american? the republican establishment now lashing out against the tea party who they used hold the same political beliefs!!

just like grandma said. and this is NO coincidence. if the tea party is so dumb, si unimportant, why are they sparing no expense to discredit it?

TEA PARTY! 2B1 ASK1. and really, if your heart is going bonkers, do you go to a mechanic or a cardiologist? if you want to know all about. how bread rises do you ask welder or a baker?

if you REALLY want to know about the tea party, ASK US!! WE WILL TELL YOU! or better yet, ATTEND A COUPLE MEETING OR RALLIES. find out for YOURSELF!!

or keep on on believing the al sharptons, barrack obamas, nanci pelosi’s and john bohners of the world what we are about. close your eyes and PRETEND you know. [for the greater good of course]

      • Tony C

Hey UNCharming – how do you know where I’ve been? I’ve been to two-dozen Tpotty rallies. I always stand there with a big sign that reads “TEA PARTY = AMERICAN TALIBAN” so far not one of you cowardly traitors has ever had the stones to say boo to me.

And what does George Soros have to do with this? Why do you Taliban lovers always deflect and conflate? Is it because you realize you are on the wrong side of the argument?

I know what you are about. You are racists, homophobic, theocrats who hate the Constitution because it gives rights to non-Whites, empowers the poor, makes it impossible for you to achieve a state religion, stops you from telling us who we can marry, who we can sleep with, what our women can and can’t do with their own bodies. You stand for defeat of the American way.

That’s why America has so far R E J E C T E D you idiots. I stand by my praise though. I am thankful for you. You are the best weapon the Dems have. You will destroy the GOP from the INSIDE. Remember Christine O’Donnell? “I am not a witch!” or Sharon MANGLE in Nevada? The gift that keeps on giving.

And thanks especially for Canadian Raphael Teddy Cruz (why is it he ashamed of his Hispanic heritage and hides his real first name?) Cruz is the best friend the Dems have. He told the truth about the GOP – HE called them liars. Cruz did that Not Soros. Not Sharpton. Not President Obama. Not Speaker Pelosi. Raphael Teddy Cruz said it over and over and we have the YouTube video to prove it. Thanks. Really. Keep it up. HA!

      • Tony C

Good old Ann whom was instrumental in ramming Mitt Romney down the electorate’s gullet in 2012. Yes indeed, after that she was front person for Christie and rode his band wagon for a season until she dumped him. She continues to flat out lie and mis-represent the CSF as “a Soros front group”. (something thoroughly discredited) They are not. She probably doesn’t like Matt Bevins and their other excellent selections like Mike Lee and Ted Cruz.

Ann who is/was on the board of advisors to LGBT groups is a conservative tare. IMO. Fact is Ann Coulter is today, more like Karl Rove than Ted Cruz. Ann Coulter has become an irritant to the Tea Party because her ideology is tainted by her cronies in the Eastern Corridor. I used to like her cutting wit, now it is she whom is the real con job. Beginning with the bottle that makes her blonde. I have no use for Coulter, she is a shill.

Time to rise up and vote out the radical right wing cracked teapots and their oil, insurance and defense contractor owners. At least the people saw the light and realized how idiotic “Juiced Up” Sharron Angle and The Flying Witch Christine O’Donnell, Joe Smith from Alaska and several others were and did not vote them in. Hopefully, people saw what the real helicopter gunship pilot Sarah Palin is and will never allow her to hold any public office. The idiots who voted for these nutcases did not learn from Bush Bin Lyin and his criminal gang- led by President Cheney, what the republicans are really about. They outed two CIA agents, who wanted to tell the truth that there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Bush Bin Lyin’s bosses the oil companies and defense contractors got wealthy as our society was being brought down. These guys destroyed Iraq and then had to rebuild it using tax payer dollars. Scooter Libby was the fall guy for the CIA agents outing. Don’t forget the criminal gang’s trickle down economics where the money trickled down into their bosses pockets instead of creating jobs. That is why we were losing over 700,000 jobs a month and increasing exponentially before Obama took over.

  • Jim Radburn

The pathetic, psychotic teanuts promised to create jobs if they were elected. The first two bills they tried to pass were to ban abortion and to make biblical fairy tale Creationism taught as a true science in all schools. That is why the House of Representatives has a 10% approval rating-the worst in history.

    • jimadoo

Oh come on pull your head out of thy azz! As useless as congress is they have sent upwards of thirty jobs bills to the senate and Harry Reid has not allowed even one a hearing on the floor. You dems are quick to cast judgement but fail to see the truth staring you in the face!

      • lbeacham

More job opportunities is antipathetic to statist, big government politicians. The increasing ratio of takers vs. taxpayers is a “tell”. The ACA creates the latest welfare subsidy to bring into the fold ever more higher earners. Food Stamps have morphed into opportunities to “eat healthy” from preventing starvation and rickets. Now we need to give higher amounts of SNAP to prevent obesity. The point is, welfare is now chic and the middle class is invited to join. I guess that’s what income equality means; everybody deserves Government’s largesse. Is America destined to become a Ponzi scheme?

GS Cookie sales are down, GS participation rates are down. I think that’s the point: Progressives ruin everything they touch. Progressives don’t have any or many kids — much less are they eager to sign them up for Scouts participation; so it’s not about their kids, but everyone else’s.

        • to_tell_the_truth

Progressives buy GS cookies, and yet you blame progressives for the decline in sales. Try again, but this time, apply some logic.

          • emiliani

What the heck are you talking about??!! Follow the thread, holmes. My point is simple: Progressives are destroying the GS, whether Progressive buy cookies or not. Cookie sales are WAY down over the past 20 years because the GS have lost a third of their members; because of the Progressive agenda foisted on the GS, conservatives families like mine are opting out (and refusing to buy cookies to support the nonsense).

I suspect you can probably follow that.

          • to_tell_the_truth

Re: “What the heck are you talking about??!! ”

            Reading comprehension problems?

Your ‘point’ (“Progressives are destroying the GS”) is nothing but your opinion. You’ve provided no proof for your assertion.
If “conservative families like [yours[ are opting out”, then you need to look in the mirror for the reason why the organization is being “destroyed”.

          • emiliani

I’m not sure what’s not to understand. I gave you the stats: GS have lost one million members in the past 10-15 years (from 3 million to 2 million — 1/3 of its membership). Heck, when one-third of the Angels fell, it was a catastrophe; but apparently when it happens to the GS it doesn’t raise even one of your eyebrows (Spock-style).
You obviously don’t have kids, you obviously don’t speak to others. There’s a reason we’re pulling our daughters our and refusing to sign them up: Progressive Politics inserting itself in the GS.
You’re like one of those economists back in the 70s who saw the surging Toyota and Datsun sales numbers, along with declining American sales, and said, “There’s nothing to see in the trend. Keep making Pintos and Gremlins, everything is just fine.” It’s not my problem you don’t know why people are leaving the GS in droves. It’s a voluntary organization, and if folks like me are voluntarily going elsewhere, and voluntarily not buying cookies, then it’s for the GS to sort out — or continue contracting to complete oblivion.

“The Progressive Caucus advocates for state control over industries, redistribution of wealth, reduced individual economic freedom & destruction of free markets, lavishing praise on Fidel Castro following a 2009 visit to Cuba. You can call them whatever you want, the point is, they oppose free markets & individual economic freedom, & want to see the nation fundamentally transformed. Their policies are destructive & I will stand up to them regardless of the critics”. -Allen West (Veteran & T.P.M).

Q: Ann Coulter, Barack Obama and Piers Morgan are lost at sea. Who’s saved?

    A: AMERICA.

  • b_paolucci

I’m sick and tired of getting a ton of emails with every statement a leftist makes that asks for money – these bums are capitalizing on our anger. If they can’t fix something you shouldn’t give them money to fix it. One way to know who is in it for the money and who is in it for the cause; when you get 4 to 5 emails with the same subject line, the words: shocking, sign the petition, do you want (fill in the blank) i.e. take their poll,
etc. which all turn out to be a means of getting you to their ‘give me money ‘ section of their website – I delete it. And I’m also sick of seeing advertising on these sites – and by disreputable companies to boot! The real Tea Party is great, its just hard to know who is who these days. Far too many people see having an organization on the right as a means to self employment & they certainly want a hell of a lot of money.

    • to_tell_the_truth

      Re: “the real Tea Party”
Such an entity does not even EXIST. They don’t have the integrity nor the testicular fortitude to actually FORM a “real” political party with a “real” political platform.

      • b_paolucci

Are you talking about The Real Tea Party or The Senate Conservative Fund?

        • to_tell_the_truth

The fictional first one. There is no “The Real Tea Party”. See above for explanation.

  • to_tell_the_truth

“is BEING taken over by con men”?????
I think she has the timeline confused. That’s how the movement started.
And, don’t let’s forget – there is no such political party AS “the Tea Party”. They haven’t either the integrity or the balls to actually form a real political party with an actual political platform upon which they could be judged. Every stinking last one of them proudly sports an “R” after their name.

Yu have to wonder why Ann backs RINOs all day long. McCAin Romney Christie. Ann, you have to elect the right kind of TEA Party repub. Yes, some are scamming the TEA party to get elected. BUT… just electing ANY darn Repub is the exact reason we are where we are now. Too many of them are establishment Repubs and have zero intention of repealing ObamaCare.. Vote a straight TEA party ticket and vet the sob’s to make sure the RINO’s from Karl Roves Mainstream America don’t infiltrate the ranks of real Americans who want their founding principals back..

  • rockribbed

Wasn’t she a Christie girl…? Talk about being easily deceived.
As to money, I used to give to the RNC… I won’t be giving money to any Republican candidate again ever in this life time. The open borders lobby owns the GOP now.
Your judgement slip is showing, doll. Shut up and go away.

    • wolfen244

Yes, she was a Christie girl. She also changed the moment Christie showed who he really was. I agree about not giving another red cent to the RNC any longer for all you’ve said….

…however don’t count her out. She does her home work and if she herself feels she needs to change – like with Christie – then she will.

      She’s on our side.

The Tea Party has always been a con. Its straight out of the movie “Meet John Doe”, instead of using the name John Doe they use Tea Party. It was used to bring the malcontent to the voting booth and it has served it purpose. Now though its become an out of control monster and the powers that be are going to blow it up and start something new soon like the “Patriot Party” or “Joe the Plumber Party” and these same malcontent fools will merrily follow that piper down to the docks.

  • http://ChipShirley.Com/ ChipShirley

    Are All Republicans Racists?

I’m sad to say that at this point in time the answer to that question is
‘yes’. Today all Republicans are, in fact racists. Yes, there are some
people who call themselves Republicans who are not racists, but they
aren’t actually Republicans, they are RINOS, Republicans In Name Only.
And it is specifically their lack of racial bigotry that has caused the
new Ultra-Right-Wing leadership of the Republican Party to give them the
    boot.

Strange are the twists and turns of history and sociology as one party
slowly drops the white hood of racial hatred and another picks it up.

Of course we know that ‘all Republicans’ weren’t always racists. After
all, Abraham Lincoln was a Republican at a time when that party had a
northern base and the Democrats with their southern base were the racist
party. But that all changed over time. After the Civil War Democrats
began to broaden their base and eventually, by the 1950s and ’60s the
Democratic Party was home to great civil rights leaders. This was an
uncomfortable fit that didn’t last long. The progressive civil rights
stance taken by presidents JFK and LBJ was more than the racist southern
Democrats could stand and when LBJ left office, their mass exodus from
    the Republican Party commenced.

The lilly white MLK hating Richard Nixon won the presidency in 1968 and
it would have been a landslide except that the more extreme racist
George Wallace ran as a 3rd party candidate and took over 13% of the
    vote.

George Wallace would have a near death-bed conversion and he later
renounced his racist views. But many other white people would not see
the light and it is those hate-filled evil bigots led by Limbaugh,
Hannity Glenn Beck, Mark Levin, Ted Nugent, etcetera who have won the
hearts of the Republican base. As I said before, there are many
non-racist people who still call themselves Republicans, but just ask
Ted Cruz and Rush Limbaugh, those people aren’t Republicans, they are Republicans In Name Only.

    http://ChipShirley.Com/

    • onceproudamerican

You have it backwards. Conservatives believe in MLK’s ‘Dream’ while the racist Democrats fight with every fiber of their being against anything that smacks of equality…and attack any Black person in the pubic eye who shine a light on the ‘plantation’ mentality of the Democrat Party. Folks in Dem districts are worse off today than they were 20 years ago…

  • mike2000917

Coulter is great. She has recently said that amnesty is the only issue that counts right now. Importing and legalizing millions of additional very low IQ, un-skilled laborers is a prescription for a total take over by the parasite Democrat Party. It’s that simple.

    • onceproudamerican

How soon we forget that Coulter was pushing Chris Cristie for POTUS even though he is a Dem with an R next to his name and no one would ever confuse him with a conservative…

  • Nick

Electing a “Republican” as Ann calls for does no good if that “Republican” votes and acts exactly like a Democrat! We need to shrink the size of the federal government, enforce our borders and give the power back to the states!
To correct “cloudy dayz” says below in his all too dramatic response, Down with the Teachers Unions because they hold no accountability for their lack of educating our youth (Dissolve teh Department of Education at the Federal level and return that to the states!) Down with most unions who are run by rich corrupt representatives who do whatever their Democrat overloards bid them do for their vote.
Deporting all the Mexicans isn’t necessary, just those who are here illegally. You do realize that the overabundence of undocumented, unskilled workers is ther reason the minimum wage is so low don’t you? Thank Ted Kennedy! It’s called supply and demand and it’s exactly why all these big businesses are lobying fo rimmigration/amnesty right now, so they have more cheap labor to hire!
If you love being robbed at gunpoint, keep all these illegals here. How many violent crimes are committed by illegals who then are put in jail and let back out, who have criminal records before they come here? Then we can’t deport them because the DOJ headed up by Eric the Racist Holder doesn’t enforece the laws of the land.
You do realize that government welfare dependence is a form of slavery don’t you?

    • Dean Barr

Ted Kennedy?? How about your boy Ronnie Raygun who gave amnesty to 12 million, yes, 12 million. You R’s are so gullible…….

  • RMH

Ann is correct the Tea Parties Ultra Rich backers are not out to save America , they are out to destroy the Middle Class .. The Main component of that Rich backing is the Koch Bros. Ann baby would never come right out and say this because the Koch war machine would chew her up and spit her out … SO while Annie is correct she still loves to play to Daddy Warbucks … She’s a hypocrite . This so called grass roots movement plays upon American ideals while destroying the American dream from within with a agenda that is Pro wealth and anti middle class .. There is Nothing grass roots about it . It’s all funded and guided by the Ultra Conservative Koch Bros and there merry band of CPAC and Lobbyist .. Annie has a real credibility issue when praising the Tea Party come to think on it Anne has real credibility issue in general .. But hey that’s easy to do when as you sit upon KochWarbucks lap and belittle other Rich Tea Party activist .. Of course the Koch Bros don’t want ANY competition in steering the Bagger movement .. SO they ask Ann to make a plea to Tea Party contributors… Only the Koch steering committee is to get the so called grass roots funds .. It avoids any confusion and allow the Good Ship 1% clear sailing toward the destruction of the American Dream for the middle class .. Nice try Annie ..

Coulter is an idiot, and she tailors her message and her business model for stupid people who buy her baloney. Once her followers buy then, the only customers left are those who buy for the entertainment purposes – something to laugh at when one has a party.

  • foxtrotunited

And Ann Coulter is one of those con men…

  • jacqui8411

Ann is WRONG. She says the Republicans don’t have a majority, they can’t do ANYTHING waaaaah. They don’t talk about what they would do it they had the Senate. Do they talk EVER about border enforcement first??? Are they demanding that? We’re coming up to the midterms; what are Republicans promising? “comprehensive Immigration Reform”. We are DONE. Republicans have had the Senate, the house and the Presidency and they did nothing. Item 2: Obamacare. McConnell has walked back his promise to repeal it completely. Item 3: IRS scandal. John Boehner is doing the minimum. This President and administration is the most corrupt, destructive in the History of the country and the Republicans are doing nothing. It is time to clean house and that is what we are doing. It is going to take time and some sleezeballs like Lindsey Graham will slip through the cracks; but from now on it is “trust but verify.” If you are a Republican that says you are for border enforcement and you participate in backroom deals for amnesty or if you undermine Conservatives who are trying to stop amnesty; then you are FOR AMNESTY. As for the democrats and going after them, we are going after them Ann, with Tea Party Conservatives.

  • True Amercian

Ann Coulter should crawl back under whatever rock she was hatched under.

    • Melting Granite

Actually, Coulter was born of her father’s anus, after his retrograde ejaculation resulted in a previously unseen male rectal pregnancy. It was a fluke of evolution, an occurrence that will probably never again recur in humankind.

  • Michael Wiebe

There is no perfect government; party; ideology; economy etc., Whenever people are involved, you have the influence of special interest groups; super rich; lobbyists and just plain crooks. The only system that can possibly work long term is one of give and take and compromise; left and right and middle of the road. The Tea Party is way too out there to survive by itself and needs moderates within its ranks as well or it will go the way of the dinosaur very shortly.

    • Martel

It will either go the way of the dinosaur or it will force America to go the way of the dinosaur. Both of those outcomes are possible. That the teaparty cabal (actually a creation of some of the richest radical right-wingnuts in the country) will be a long lasting political gambit is not a possibility precisely because specimens with no comprehension of reality cannot govern at all and will implode in a national spectacle…hopefully without dragging the whole country down with them.

  • Pad

That is the most reasonable thing I think I have heard her say. I would have guessed she was one who would attack mainstream Republicans as not conservative enough. If more people catch on to what she is saying, the Republican Party might avoid killing itself from within, to the disappointment of many of us.

  • Kirk

Maybe if the tea party had more white christian conservatives, too many people of color, ya thats it, More White People!

    • VendicarDecarian0

The Tea Party is comprised of old white men who will soon be dead.

The Republicans are just gonna wait for them to croke.

Bush brought the U.S economy low by promoting de-regulation. That’s what caused the 2008 crash (that’s before Obama was elected, 0321). The U.S economy has recovered significantly since the aftermath of that. Under Obama.

Arguable the greatest threat internationally to America is Islamic fundamentalism. Bush invaded Iraq under false pretenses, and opened the doors for the terrorists to take control over wide parts of Iraq and Syria. Conservative politicians and pundits argued long before he invaded, that invading Iraq was a mistake.

I can see all of Obama’s mistakes – and wish he would do more in foreign policy areas. But the facts clearly lay out that Obama has been fixing a mess left to him by the Republicans.

        • Mel Content

Bush brought the U.S economy low by promoting de-regulation. That’s what caused the 2008 crash

          Your ignorance is quite apparent.

          • Kevin Wilson

I guess in your world that passes for an argument?

I made several assertions based on facts. Please show me anywhere where I have made an ignorant statement.

          • Martel

He is a bit ignorant. Bush was just basking in the nuclear radiation of deregulation and class privilege and entirely ignorant of anything in the real world beyond the two scams which made him ‘successful’ in a manner of speaking. He borrowed money from Osama bin Laden’s daddy (and you thought people like bin Laden just came out of nowhere, all of a sudden) to finance his first business bankruptcy (which somehow, mysteriously LOL, left him more wealthy than when he started) which led to his second business failure in which he and his partners sold their stock in an insider trading scheme knowing that they were about to declare corporate bankruptcy, thereby quadrupling his original investment…and then he became the mouthpiece for the Rangers campaign to have the taxpayers build a stadium for them which made him and his partners about ten times as wealthy as they had been, at which time he cashed out and called it a life – a life so ‘successful’ (for a con man) that he deserved political power.

We actually owe the deregulation which caused the implosion of the financial system and the economy to St. Ronnie of Alzheimer who also gave us the even more ragingly idiotic Laffer Curve and the laughably moronic trickle down ‘theory’ of economics in his effort to destroy America. It’s too bad he didn’t live to see his abject intellectual failure, though his brain was mush from his date of birth so he wouldn’t have noticed.

All markets are quickly controlled from inception by their biggest player(s). There is no such thing as a ‘free’ market and there never has been. The only freedom there can be in a market is that created by government regulation of the con men who would otherwise control it. That presumes, of course, that the regulators aren’t bought off by the con men so it’s necessary to have regulators regulating the regulators and probably another level of regulators to regulate those regulators and then life sentences for any regulators who abuse their responsibilities to the rest of us. But the reality is that without regulation you will always be scammed by ‘honest’ businessmen and, when they’re really, really successful with the con they will destroy the economy on a regular basis. Deny reality and deny history all you like but all it will gain for you is devolution from human to baboon.
