“It’s time for Americans to realize it’s us against them.”
Those were Judge Jeanine Pirro’s words during her opening statement on her Fox News program last night. By “them” she meant the elements of radical Islam that threaten our freedom, our security, our economy, and our lives.
She also said that it’s time for us to “come together as a nation, to forget about the political lines that separate us.” She said that acts of violence committed by radical Muslims should be treated as war crimes.
“We can start by calling things what they are,” she said. “When a Ft. Hood shooter guns down his fellow soldiers, yelling ‘Allahu Akhbar!’ with a business card that says ‘Soldier of Allah’ and who communicated with [Anwar] al Awlaki, it’s not workplace violence, it’s terrorism, and he’s a terrorist.”
“And I don’t want to hear the acting head of the CIA tell me that he took the word ‘Islamic’ out from in front of the word ‘extremist’ because he didn’t want to inflame passions. And I don’t want the word ‘jihad’ scrubbed from the FBI training manual.”
We don’t think that she’ll ever be a panelist on a show hosted by Melissa Harris Perry.
