Florida Senator Marco Rubio gave what was advertised to be a major foreign policy speech on Wednesday and delivered a jeremiad in support of more wars of the type that have led America to the brink of bankruptcy. Speaking at the globalist Council on Foreign Relations, he raged against a country that is not spending enough money on the military and vowed a far more aggressive approach when he takes up residence in the Oval Office come January of 2017. Defense contractors were clicking their heels just as the terror war profiteers of the surveillance state Gomorrah that has the nation’s capital as its nexus have been doing over Rubio’s full-throated defense of spying on everyone.

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) detailed the pillars of his foreign policy platform in his first major policy address as a presidential candidate on Wednesday, making the case that he’s the strongest Republican on the issue of national security.
“What principles should govern the exercise of our power?” Rubio asked at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York.
“The 21st century requires a president who will answer that question with clarity and consistency,” Rubio continued. “One who will set forth a doctrine for the exercise of American influence in the world and who will adhere to that doctrine with the principled devotion that has marked the bipartisan tradition of presidential leadership from Truman to Kennedy to Reagan. Today, I intend to offer such a doctrine. And in the coming years, I intend to be such a president.”
Rubio also called for a stronger military, an international defense of the American economy, and “moral clarity regarding America’s core value.”
The top priority in Rubio’s foreign policy doctrine will be to show American strength through military might.
It was a command performance from Rubio, a man who will say anything to realize his megalomaniac wet dream to become president when he grows up. If the top two qualities of a winning Republican candidate are anger and bullshit then the ambitious Cuban whelp has cornered the market on both. His big CFR speech was a hodgepodge of applause lines, revamped talking points and smackdowns of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Rand Paul who has the audacity to oppose illegal surveillance and endless war. There was nothing even remotely original about it but it will further endear Rubio to the neoconservatives in the national media machine.
So angry Marco continues his metamorphosis from the young king of amnesty for illegals to global avenger itching to get his paws on the nuclear launch codes. But one thing that Marco Rubio is more than anything is a fraud and all of the smack talking about enforcing big stick American whup ass on the rest of the planet can’t obscure the fact that he is a poseur and a RINO. He is also a big government fascist of the worst type – right up there with Obama – in that he has called for the imposition of a permanent USAPATRIOT Act. Hell, it probably won’t be much longer before he proposes an actual Constitutional amendment to codify into law the illegal Orwellian state that is spying on every intimate detail of the lives of Americans. Despite all of his fulminating volcanic rhetoric about hating on Fidel Castro he sure seems to be fond of a militarist state dictatorship like the one that the dirty bearded devil runs.
Oh, and he also flip-flopped on the Iraq war, now he is against it. Like he turned on a dime and changed his mind about amnesty for illegal aliens – betraying the Tea Party base that elected him – he once again has shown his true colors and lack of principles. If conservatives are bamboozled by this guy to the extent that they actually make him the GOP nominee in 2016 and he somehow manages to beat Queen Hillary then they will deserve getting stabbed in the back by him after the votes have been tallied.
