What does art have to do with homosexuality? Everything according to a lesbian who is suing a Texas school district after she was suspended for teaching her elementary students about being gay. Okay, there’s a lot of gay people in the art world, but this wasn’t an art history class, it was little kids making macaroni art and dream catchers.
The NY Daily News reports:
A Texas teacher who was suspended after showing her students a picture of her then-fiancée is suing the school district for discrimination.
Stacy Bailey, a former art teacher at Charlotte Anderson Elementary School in Arlington, alleges in the suit filed Tuesday that the Mansfield Independent School District and two employees discriminated against her because she’s gay. Bailey was fighting to have her job back after her suspension in September.
A parent complained to the principal in August 2017 that Bailey was promoting a “homosexual agenda” and was talking about her “future wife,” the suit says.
While Bailey claims that all she did was mention her female fiancée, the two are now married, here’s what she actually did:
The school district maintains Bailey discussed “her sexual orientation with elementary-aged students” and “refused to follow administration’s directions regarding age-appropriate conversations with students.”
The school district has offered to move Bailey to teach at a high school, but she ain’t having it. She has her heart set on instructing little kids about lesbianism:
“Mansfield ISD reassigned Bailey to teach in a secondary school, sending the message that it believed LGBT teachers were not acceptable to teach elementary students,” read a statement on Bailey’s behalf.
The issue isn’t whether gay people are acceptable to teach elementary school kids, it’s that she was pushing her gay lifestyle on these young children. Yes, it is unacceptable and inappropriate to teach little kids about homosexuality.
In addition to the lawsuit, Bailey is demanding that the school district institute a policy that would protect gay teachers’ right to indoctrinate youngsters in the ways of LGBTism. That’s what I love about leftist lunatic activists: they are always so reasonable.
First off, take the high school teaching job you dummy. It pays more, especially when compared to being unemployed. Secondly, you teach art, so teach art. Not everything has to be a daily affirmation of your alternative lifestyle. Amazingly enough, I’ve never had a job where I felt the need to push and promote my heterosexuality.
Actually, this woman should get a job teaching in Illinois, as the state recently passed legislation mandating an LGBT curriculum. She could have her kids making decorative dental dams and double-headed dildos all day long and it would just be a part of the normal lesson plan.
