Black Lives Matter Co-Founder Calls For Cop-Free Black Communities

In the wake of the latest spate of black men forcing cops to shoot them, one of the founders of the Black Lives Matter movement says it’s time for the police to leave the black community. The idea apparently is that black neighborhoods, full of the worst criminals this country has to offer, would be safer without the protection of the police department.

Alicia Garza co-founded Black Lives Matter on the lie of Trayvon Martin’s death and it came to national prominence on the lie of Michael Brown’s death. With a foundation built entirely out of bullshit, it’s no surprise that everything that comes out of the mouth of one of their founding mothers is completely asinine. Garza did an interview with Complex and it was one for the ages.

In regards to the recent police shootings of black men in Tulsa, OK and Charlotte, NC, Garza hasn’t seen the videos, which support the police officers, but somehow she knows the cops were wrong.

“I’ve chosen not to[watch the videos]. I think we know what it looks like when somebody is murdered, said Garza.

Yeah, screw the facts. She doesn’t want them getting in the way of her preconceived notions and general hatred of law enforcement.

Then there is this about the Charlotte riots, which erupted after a black cop shot and killed an armed black man:

“The thing that people get so concerned about is how do we stop the violence in Charlotte, but yet we’re not thinking about the fact that there’s been violence in Charlotte since way before whatever is happening there has happened. The brother who was killed is a form of state violence. He was killed and the police will not release the video. The police are not taking accountability for the violence that they enact in our communities and yet there isn’t as much outrage about that as there is about some broken windows and lost property,” she said.

A black protester shot and killed another random protester. Mobs of blacks have beaten the shit out of innocent white people because of the color of their skin. This is more than broken windows and lost property and it’s based on yet another lie.

“How do we stop violence, looting, and riots? The way that we stop that is by making sure that people have the things that they need to thrive. When people are systematically denied their right to adequate housing, adequate schools, to adequate food, to dignity—this is a response and a reaction that we should absolutely expect,” Garza said.

What a lot of people do to get adequate housing, schools, food, and dignity is work, you know, like at a job where they earn money to buy necessities. It works a lot better than looting for those things or hoping the government will give them to you.

And finally Garza says the black community would be better off without any police at all:

“Ultimately, policing in and of itself is problematic. I know that in this country we give a lot of veneration to police. In the ethos of this country, police can do no wrong. And if and when police do wrong, it’s a case of individual bad apples, as opposed to a corroded and corrupt system… Quite frankly, many of our [Black Lives Matter] members are continuing to investigate what it would mean to have police-free communities. I think what we’ve continued to see over time is that no moral appeal is actually stopping the deaths of black people, whether they be armed or unarmed,” said Garza.

Interesting theory. She’s saying that cops kill blacks so getting them out of black neighborhoods will mean no blacks will ever be killed. This ignores the fact that almost all black people are killed by other blacks and that by removing cops from the equation there will be even more black killers running loose in the black community. But hey, good luck with that.

  3. I completely support this. Let emergency services operate in areas with actual tax payers. Let these idiots burn and shoot themselves out of existence.

    • A black EMT was in trouble because she wouldn’t go into the hood until she had backup. Her remark was not complimentary. So no cops. Therefore no Firemen? No EMTs? Adequate housing, food, and dignity. Anyone ever see housing after a few years? Schools get robbed, trashed, and where is the dignity? In areas with people who have pride in their behavior, hood, etc. I grew up over the river from a town, similar to my blue collar neighborhood. After the riots of the 60s, families moved out of LA. Then came the troublemakers. Disaster! Compton. I remained until 1980 because the house I rented was sold, stayed in my town until 2000. I would go back to my old neighborhood and high school where my daughter and I graduated, ’55 and ’76. What a mess. It isn’t money. We never had much either. Loss of jobs in recent times but that wasn’t the issue in the late 60s and 70s. I do not understand the mindset.

    • I support the idea as an experiment. First, however, we need to help with the evacuation of any residents who want police/fire protection as well as EMTs. Then we can draw a boundary (with spray paint, even) and designate the area as cop-free. Make sure all government workers respect the boundary. Warn all charity workers that they will not be protected or ransomed from within the zone. If it works, great. If it doesn’t work, it’s on the proponents of the cop-free zone to give in and apologize. After all, this was THEIR idea.

          • The police are far from terrorists. You are the only troll here. They want to be given everything for nothing. They want access to what they feel is adequate housing (there are tons of white homeless people), adequate food (tons of starving whites too), and adequate schools (we all fight to go to college or other schools, and all schools fight for funding). These are all bull shit things and if they want the government to provide them they are BELOW the poverty line in those situations.

            You know what the rest of the world has to do? We have to work hard, we have to try in school to better ourselves, we don’t just expect the government to give us a free hand out unless we are working hard and still can’t make ends meet and then it is only enough to sustain us to what the government thinks we need.

            It is ridiculous for them to expect the government to provide ALL of these things when they don’t want to get up and do shit for themselves. Education only goes so far when more than half of them drop out of school even if the school isn’t bad.

            Looting, theivery, drug dealing, are all ways to take the easy way out, and these idiots are more racist than anything I can think of a white person doing in recent reports. It is perfectly acceptable to their communities to beat a white woman as a group in front of her child simply because they were in the wrong park.

            I say if they want a no police zone we pull a freaking Raccoon city scenario from Resident Evil and just put up giant walls so no one is getting in and out and they can fend for themselves in there and only food is set out etc, and they can just go to online school or some shit, because honestly they are creating their own problems. If left to their own devices particularly considering the level of black on black crime in this country many of them will end up shooting each other to “get theirs”.

            I’m not racist to any degree and I think to solve racism every race needs to bend, admit that some of them are racist and just stop. African American’s need to stop self segregating and TURNING to violence as an answer when they feel someone doesn’t “belong” (trying to own a public park that is funded with tax payer money for instance and feeling you own it so much that you are going to beat on a mother trying to spend time with their child is ridiculous).

            You could make all white on minority racism go away tomorrow and that won’t solve racism particularly when blacks are vehemently racist and violent about it. If you heard a group of white women beat up a black woman in front of their child these blacks would be calling for those white women’s head on pikes and calling them white supremacists and racist etc, but they won’t decry their own race for violent racist behavior. Some of them make the KKK look reasonable in modern times and that simply won’t do.

  7. I for one say let them have it. Pick a few of the worst cities in America, all of which are primarily black already anyway, and pull the cops out. Issue warnings at the city limits that anyone inside those city limits will not be under the protection of the police force. Then, just cit back and watch the fun… Anyone remember “Escape From New York/LA”?

    I want to reiterate though, that this is NOT a generalized black issue. In my daily dealings with the public in my shop, I have black folks coming and going all day. I wear a rebel flag doorag (sic?) when I’m working, there’s a small rebel flag hung on a pillar, there’s a huge rebel flag painted on the tailgate of my pickup and I have a rebel flag tattooed on my arm. Not a single person has ever had a problem with it. We are respectful of one another and a couple of them will even stop by just to shoot the shit. Well, I take that back… I did get one piece of shit who accused me of being racist because I had the audacity to ask for his ID when he wrote me a check! But that was the rare exception rather than the rule.

    Tonight at my least favorite conglomerate, Walmart, (with my hand painted rebel flag leather bracelet on my wrist) one of the older black guys I was talking to (an employee) mentioned he was from Charlotte and we got to talking about that. He said he didn’t know what the hell was going on with those idiots. he talked about how it used to be such a nice place back when he lived there…. Just a real decent human being. No color at all.

    Then in the frozen isle I couldn’t find a certain TV dinner I was looking for. The young (black) kid I asked for help went out of his way to be helpful. He went to the back and when he didn’t find any there, he actually got down on his knees and dug through the dinners until he found me two of what I wanted. He could not have been any more nice. Most of the white folks working there won’t even give you the time of day, but this kid took the time to help me when he didn’t have to.

    Those are the people who make me pray that there is hope… and then I come home and read this shit. Way to go DT!

    • I have to kinda agree with you. There are black people who are very upstanding citizens. Sadly, their contributions are overshadowed by the antics of the BLM movement. Back on topic: If “they” want no police presence in their enclaves, fine. Of course that means no fire & EMS either-they require police protection in a hostile fire zone. Local bsinesses would be either looted out of existence or would pre emptively close up shop.

We live in a 21st century where all men are created equal and all are free, free as one wants to be. When we realize that our children do not recognize color and that the parent teach them color and racism then we should have a desire to reevaluate the deplorable curse that we have and are placing on our children. Civilized behavior is nothing more than showing evidence of moral and intellectual advancement; humane, ethical and reasonable which is something that is within the reach of all of mankind regardless of their status, race, even upbringing. It is something that as an individual we choose or not choose. Regardless of race or environment it takes discipline in order to have moral and intellectual advancement hence I believed it is personally motivated by one’s own being. It does take determination if one’s comes from a less than status quo homelife, but it still can be done.

          • We are all created equal with respect to human rights, however we cannot expect to all have equal results based on God given strengths and weaknesses. What we are seeing is a demand for equal results based on less effort having been given (or no effort at all). A certain demographic is responsible for an inordinate amount of violent crime (hugely disproportionate amount) -and when perpetrators are injured and killed in the act, its now become a cause celeb when in fact injury and death during crime is simply a consequence of this disproportionate illegal behavior.
            A mature mind comprehends actions have consequences and seeks to modify the actions to effect the resulting consequences…. A child-like mind does not grasp this but instead screams ‘not fair!’
            Equal opportunity is afforded all, not equal results.
            If you don’t put in the effort – the education, the work, the job, and so on you will not nor should you expect equal results to those that do. In fact you may even need to exert extra effort to get ‘equal’ results if its not an area of your natural gifts. We’ve all done things which came naturally and easily to us, and other things where we bust our butts to succeed (yet it seems easy to others).
            We see over and over minority demands for fair and equal results. As you stated we all start out ‘fair and equal’ in this country in fact I’d argue minorities are actually given additional advantages, incentives, inducements- to try and succeed…. Demands for higher pay for minimally educated, marginally skilled workers make no sense. A ‘livable’ minimum wage which was never intended to be that…. More ‘fair’ Law Enforcement when in fact the criminality IS the reason enforcement seems biased. Sometimes a ‘crackdown’ (crime, drugs, prostitution, gangs- whatever) IS the ‘fair’ thing to do, sometimes lenience is the ‘fair’ thing to do…….
            Unless we all behave in identical manners ‘fair’ will never be the same (or equal) across the board, there will always appear to be biases and injustice…..

    • I too have cordial interactions with some blacks. There are plenty of blacks who don’t buy in to the BLM thing, but they still vote democrat because the Libs have convinced them to fear Republicans.

          • It’s not that easy. Many of those who do stand up and hold accountable the criminal element end up severely hurt or dead. I think it would be a great idea to relocate those residents who want a police presence and want to feel safe, then remove the police from that area. Since fireman, EMS, and other government entities want to feel secure, they would have the option of going in or not. Let’s see how long it lasts. Let’s see how many businesses stay in that community? However, if BLM was granted their request, when it turned out to be a disaster, somehow they would still blame the White man.

With no law enforcement presence, the urban black communities will do themselves the work that is so desperately needed in America. Let them have their Thunderdome for the sake of all other races.

    It is not racist to give the urban black communities what they are demanding. It is however racist to believe that other races know better what they need.

    Segregation? Granted.
    Violent blacks left to be free in their neighborhoods? Granted.

    To deny them these demands are exactly what they are protesting about. To deny them these demands makes you their enemy and exacerbates the anger and violence. If you deny them these demands, you are a racist.

    • I’m a liberal and many of us think BLM are retarded as all hell. I think true racist reform only happens when all of us are willing to bend and state we have racism and to actually work on it. We can’t teach our children to be racist, if we openly hate another race those children that never saw color or race grow to learn that hatred and it cycles out. All races need to openly admit that their people have many racists, many criminals, and work on that kind of thing.

      The african american community itself needs to realize the amount of harm they personally do to their own people. They need to solve black on black crime, the amount of blacks involved in violent crime against any race, the amount that turn to gangs, drugs, violence etc and denounce those criminal elements, and work on bettering themselves without the government’s help unless they actually need it. The way this woman talks she has this sense of entitlement that she should be given all this shit without actually trying at anything. If you can work and you aren’t get out there and work instead of complaining, if you work hard and still need help the government WILL help you no matter your skin color, but don’t expect any extra help than a white person would get in the same situation then either, particularly when many of them are living in low cost housing, or trailers with a single room etc……

      And for the love of god if you are on welfare don’t act like some of these dumb people I’ve seen on TV on welfare going to shop at holister and shit like that and being proud that they are on welfare acting like you ignorant as all hell. I also want to see welfare reform that makes sure people are given a TRACKED debit card to make sure they are using it for what they are SUPPOSED to be, and check ups to make sure that these people aren’t also drug dealers or some other shit making income they aren’t reporting.

  36. I say no govt funding in their ghettos, and no govt services including: cops, ems, fire, trash, water, electric, etc. If they break it they can fix it. If they think they can be self sufficient BE SELF SUFFICIENT and we wont pay another dime to ya! This should save billions in taxpayer money monthly. If you section off black communities and have no police presence then no one will want to go in those areas.     • I don’t get why people would want to go into those areas given the climate in some of them. Last august a white mother was beaten by a group of black women in a park because she was “in the wrong park” (because she was white). They want to self segregate even though they pushed to end segregation and that was a huge part of the civil rights movement. MLK must be rolling over in his grave hard enough to cause massive earthquakes at this point. He’d be ashamed of his own people.
