New York Governor Andrew Cuomo often claims he is an illegal alien and demands that President Trump deport him. I thought this was just some liberal insanity and grandstanding but there may be some truth to it. Andrew’s brother Cris Cuomo, a CNN fake newser, indicated on the air that his ancestors were illegal aliens. It’s still likely that the whole family is full of shit, but it’s interesting to see how this craziness appears to be hereditary.
Chris Cuomo, as an impartial journalist, went on a rant against President Trump’s immigration policies, with his major beef being that the country’s immigration laws are being enforced.
“This administration doesn’t want any immigrants coming in any more than is necessary. What’s my proof? First, the move to enforce the law on the border,” said Cuomo.
Okay, that’s not proof that the President is trying to stop immigration, just illegal immigration. It’s maddening the way liberals try to conflate the two things and as you will soon see, this is the basis for all of Cuomo’s rant.
“What he really wants to do is create an ugly rejection of who made this country great in the first place,” said Cuomo.
And to drive his point home how Trump’s a big meanie for enforcing immigration laws, Cuomo relates it to his own family’s story:
“My ancestors on both sides were almost completely uneducated, illiterate and in no way high skilled. I loved them, I miss them. That’s the truth,” Cuomo said.
He knew his ancestors? People don’t generally refer to their grandparents as ancestors, that’s usually a term for relatives many generations ago. Maybe his great-great-great-great grandparents lived to be several hundred years old and got a chance to bounce baby Chris on their knee before turning into dust. Or perhaps he’s a lying sack of crap.
“They served in the military, they dug ditches, did construction, worked their way into businesses, build homes of their own, they put their kids into public education. A generation later, they had a governor, then one after that, they had another governor, and an anchor at CNN,” Cuomo said.
So his ancestors (AKA his grandparents) assimilated and succeeded within one generation? That’s not making a great case for illegal immigrants who go generations without ever assimilating or even learning how to speak English.
Now here’s where Cuomo says his grandparents were illegal aliens:
“My story is common. So my argument is this. How many of you would be here, if America was like what Trump wants it to be now? I wouldn’t,” Cuomo said.
Since Trump is merely trying to stop illegal immigration and Chris Cuomo claims that if his policies had been in place when his grandparents immigrated to the US, it stands to reason that Cuomo is claiming his “ancestors” were illegal aliens. I’m 100% certain this is a lie, but there is a weird thing going on with the Cuomo brothers in that they really want people to believe they are illegal aliens. It’s like that thing where some white people think they’re black or how some men believe they are really women.
Yes, America is country of immigrants, but it’s a country of legal immigrants. When most of our ancestors came here, they did it the right way. To compare that to murderous scumbags with face tattoos who sneak into the country is an insult to all Americans, including Cuomo’s grandparents.
