Thanks to the celebrity hissy fit known as Trump Derangement Syndrome, every event is now an anti-Trump Resistance rally: NFL games, awards shows, charity fundraisers, and even TV newscasts. Short, fat, and occasionally funny actor Jack Black was awarded a a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and used the opportunity to attack the President, calling Trump a “piece of shit.” I’m almost sure he was contractually obligated to say that, but I think he also enjoyed it as a liberal elitist douchebag.
On Tuesday Black got his very own star on Hollywood Blvd. which he seemed genuinely appreciative.
“I’ve wanted one of these things for so long. Since I was a kid I thought, ‘Oh man, if you get one of those stars on the sidewalk that means you’ve made it.’ And I feel like I’ve finally grasped that sweet brass ring,” said Black.
Then Black made what was being described as a joke, but wasn’t actually funny.
“I’m here to announce my retirement. I got the thing! Why continue? I’ve made it,” said Black.
The crowd booed Black’s attempt at humor. It’s unclear if they were booing his faux retirement announcement or at how weak his joke game has gotten. Maybe he should retire. He’s a one-trick pony and that trick is getting old.
After the lack of laughs, Black got serious about his politics:
“I love you all so much. Except for Donald Trump. He’s a piece of shit! Peace out, love you,” yelled Black.
Jack Black loves everyone except Donald Trump? Obviously the President wasn’t in attendance so Black wasn’t saying that he just loves everyone in the crowd, but everyone everywhere. That includes sex offenders, murderers, racists, cop-killers, terrorists, communists, and traitors. Now who’s the piece of shit? Actually, that’s a pretty good list of the people liberals love, so there’s no doubt Black was sincere about this.
In a related story, Fox News ran a piece about how Hollywood is gearing up to help democrats win the midterm elections and retake control of Congress:
Liberal celebrities have been leading the Resistance ever since President Trump’s shock victory over Hollywood darling Hillary Clinton, and now superstars are going all-in on the upcoming midterm elections – but whether or not they can make a difference remains to be seen.
Since Trump took office, a gaggle of celebrities have become increasingly involved in politics. Chelsea Handler left her struggling Netflix show to focus on activism, actress Cynthia Nixon unsuccessfully challenged New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Meryl Streep attacked Trump during a Golden Globes acceptance speech, Robert De Niro said he would like to punch the president and Madonna proclaimed she’s thought about blowing up the White House.
Former first lady Michelle Obama has enlisted Tom Hanks, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Janelle Monae, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill for her “When We All Vote” initiative. George Clooney, Jimmy Kimmel, Cher, Alec Baldwin, Chrissy Teigen, Debra Messing and Alyssa Milano are among the most outspoken critics of Trump and many more are expected to jump on the bandwagon heading into the midterms.
Just this week, actresses Julianne Moore, Eva Longoria, America Ferrera, Marisa Tomei, Gabrielle Union and Amber Tamblyn took part in a video praising Dr. Christine Blasey Ford – the woman who accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct.
And here’s the quote of the week from conservative strategist Chris Barron:
“If celebrities had a net positive impact on elections Hillary Clinton would be president. Every election cycle the Democratic Party trots out a who’s who of Hollywood stars to campaign for their candidates and every election cycle average Americans yawn,” said Barron.
Americans don’t just yawn, they vote for Republicans. The thing is, these Hollywood clowns still think that their opinions matter and that they can force people to think like them. Sure, Hollywood political advocacy sways votes, just not towards the Democratic Party like they hope.
Even more pathetic is celebrities like Jack Black think they are being edgy by calling President Trump a “piece of shit.” Robert De Niro thinks he’s moving the liberal cause by saying “F*ck Trump.” All of these morons believe their profanity and immature temper tantrums will destroy Donald Trump when in reality these antics only make him stronger.
