If you were wondering what it takes for democrats to turn on each other, the answer is: $200,000. That is the amount former VP Joe Biden was paid to speak to a bunch of hedge fund managers, which coincidentally enough is how much it takes for him to betray his progressive values. In the speech Biden pointed out the obvious that Hillary Clinton was a shitty presidential candidate. I’m guessing Biden is no longer on the Clinton Christmas card list.
Fox News reports hat Biden gave a speech on Thursday in Las Vegas to a room full of evil Wall Street types. I’m sure most of Biden’s words were incoherent, but he did manage one moment of clarity. In regards to Hillary Clinton’s disastrous 2016 presidential campaign, he made this observation:
“I never thought she was a great candidate. I thought I was a great candidate,” said Biden.
That brings up more than a few questions like: If Hillary sucked so bad, why did Biden campaign so vigorously for her? This really calls his integrity into question. If he truly believed she was such a bad candidate, why did he put his credibility on the line to promote her as a great potential president? I think the answer is because as a democrat he is a whore and will do or say anything that advances the liberal party line. The funny thing is, he doesn’t even realize what a bullshitter this statement proves him to be.
Another fair question is: if Biden was the best candidate, why didn’t he run? I know he claimed the death of his son is why he didn’t toss his hat in the ring, but this is about the millionth time he has claimed he would have won the election had he run. He doesn’t get to continue to make this boast for the simple reason that he didn’t run. Well, that and the fact that he’s a lunatic and would have lost worse than Hillary.
Biden wasn’t quite done taking shots at Hillary. Here he questions her sincerity and capability:
“No man or woman should announce for the presidency unless they genuinely believe that for that moment in the nation’s history they are the most qualified person to deal with the issues facing the country,” Biden said.
Ouch! I’m almost certain Biden didn’t mean for it to come out this way, but he just said that Hillary Clinton ran for personal selfish reasons and had she won she would have been terrible. I’m not disagreeing with him, but I’m not sure this is the message the fractured Democratic Party wants to send.
Getting back to Biden running for president he once again teased that he might throw his hair plugs into the ring in 2020:
“I may very well do it. Could I? Yes. Would I? Probably no,” said Biden.
I for one hope he does run. He says the most hilarious things and it would make for a very entertaining campaign. Also, since he’s the democrat’s lovable loser it would guarantee 4 more years of a Republican in the White House.
