These two things are 100% true: 1) there is not one shred of evidence that Donald Trump or his campaign colluded with Russian to hack or steal the 2016 election and 2) there is a mountain of evidence that Obama’s Justice Department spied on Trump’s campaign leading up to the election. California democrat Adam “Shifty” Schiff claims the complete opposite of those two truths, with nothing to back it up besides his own smugness, but he thinks the President is the one living in a fictional reality.
It’s a lot more involved than this, but the basic deal is that FBI took the infamous “Steele Dossier” that they knew was bullshit and financed by Hillary Clinton and the DNC to a federal judge to get wiretaps on several Trump campaign associates. The FBI also used a confidential informant to infiltrate the Trump campaign. Considering democrat Obama was the president in charge of this and that these actions were directed against a Republican presidential candidate, this is most certainly illegal and only an idiot would say it isn’t spying.
We’ll get to the idiot in a second, but first here is a Trump tweet that sent Schiff off the deep end:
Can anyone even imagine having Spies placed in a competing campaign, by the people and party in absolute power, for the sole purpose of political advantage and gain? And to think that the party in question, even with the expenditure of far more money, LOST!

And here’s what Schiff had to say about that:
It is one thing to imagine a fictional world. It is another to repeatedly assert that something imagined is real. The first is the realm of the novelist. The second is that of a demagogue. https://t.co/ofhIb5QF2a

I know Schifferbrains meant for this to be an attack on the President, but he just kicked himself in his tiny liberal balls. He’s the one living in a fictional world. He’s on the House Intelligence Committee, which has investigated the Russian collusion nonsense and determined there’s nothing to it. Yet Schiff still insists that there’s a ton of proof that Trump and his campaign worked with the Russians to influence the election. Okay, where is that proof? He doesn’t have it because it doesn’t exist. Thinking you have something that doesn’t exist is a pretty good indicator that you live in a fantasy world.
Another way we can tell that Schiff is riding a unicorn through gumdrop fields is that he claims there is no proof that Obama’s Justice Department spied on the Trump campaign. Thinking things that are nonexistent when they do in fact exist is extremely delusional.
Finally, the definition of a demagogue is: a political leader who seeks support by appealing to popular desires and prejudices rather than by using rational argument. That perfectly describes Adam Schiff who is sounding the alarm on a bogus Russian collusion story because he thinks that what he base cares about. He’s actually my Congressman and I can assure him that I’m not interested in him fighting windmills that he thinks are dragons.
