Racism is a meaningless term that has morphed into anything liberals don’t like or more specifically anything conservatives do. California Rep. Dana Rohrabacher is being accused of making racial stereotypes for stating that Chinese people eat dogs. The thing is, Chinese people do eat dogs, so he is accused of racism for stating a fact. Like I said, racism don’t mean shit any more.
Gotta see this to believe it. @DanaRohrabacher is asked if he wants to send a Chinese New Year message to the VOA China audience and he responds with racist stereotypes about eating dogs. https://t.co/0qhhF521UZ #CA48 pic.twitter.com/xHh35UzLeE

This is an an all-around weird story. Rohrabacher was being interviewed by Voice of America China and asked if he’d like to give the Chinese listeners a Chinese New Years wish. Here is his odd answer:
“Well, let me just note, coming in is the Year of the Dog. Now, there are some people in the United States who don’t like it that Chinese people eat dog. And I want them, the Chinese people, to know, that we eat bunnies over here, and we eat all kinds of little animals. I don’t blame them for eating dog. I mean, if that’s what tastes good, that’s what tastes good,” said Rohrabacher.
Or he could have just said “Happy New Year!”
Rohrabacher’s statement was certainly bizarre but Mediaite claims it’s racist, saying he made a, “stereotype of Chinese people eating dogs.”
In reality, Rohrabacher was attempting to normalize and accept Chinese culture which is more inline with inclusion than racism. He didn’t shame them over cultural differences, he gave them a thumbs up for eating tasty dogs. Watch the whole video. he’s reaching out to the Chinese people and calling them great allies of the US.
Also, Chinese people really do eat dogs and that means it’s not a stereotype, but rather a reality. Do a Google search for “Do Chinese people eat dogs?” and this is the first result:
Yes, but the dogs they use are specifically bred for consumption. Nobody in China wants to eat pet dogs.
See, they aren’t monsters. They don’t eat pets, just dogs bread specifically for food.
This answer also comes with a recipe for cooking dogs:
However, from most of people who have eaten dogs, they always say cook dog with chafing dish way is the best method to enjoy. For chafing dish, it meant, make a pot with water and Chinese flavourings, to cut dog meat as pieces, and put a fire (for now, people use electric or gas) under the pot, to rinse meat in pot as a few seconds you can get it out, put on some sauces, it is good.
I have to believe a Chinese person wrote that.
It’s unclear why Rohrabacher’s New Years wish included a thing about Chinese people eating dogs, but this is far from racist stereotyping since it’s 100% true that they do. My guess is that because he’s a Republican the left considers anything he says to be racist. Hillary Clinton could say that Chinese people eat dogs all day long and the liberal media would never accuse her of racism. Hell, she actually owned African American slaves and was mentored by a KKK Grand Cyclops and they still never accused her of racism.
