A recount didn’t work. The Electoral College revolt never happened. Invoking the 25th Amendment never materialize and neither did a military coup. Impeachment is just a pipe dream so now liberals are turing to resignation as their next sure-fire way to get rid of Donald Trump. Seriously, Ron Howard and a host of liberal celebrities are saying that they know for a fact Trump will resign. How? It’s hard to say because there’s so much delusion flying around in those lefty minds. One thing that is certain is that this may be the saddest liberal attempt yet to get rid of the guy who won the presidency fair and square.
When Ron Howard isn’t making boring and forgettable movies he apparently spends his time as a deep state operative, working inside the Trump administration, as evidenced by this peculiar tweet:
I’ve been picking up some intel about this option being considered by #Trump close insiders who want him to spare himself the stress and strain and #RESIGN Anyone else hearing this? https://t.co/voBPt7oDna

He’s picking up intel? Howard is actually referring to the Mashable link he included and that “intel” he’s getting comes from anti-Trump liberals like David Letterman, Al Gore and the ghost-writer for Trump’s book The Art of the Deal:
Tony Schwartz, ghost writer for The Art of the Deal and born-again Trump critic, was among those uttering the R-word Wednesday, when he tweeted a prediction. “Trump’s presidency is effectively over,” he wrote. “Would be amazed if he survives till the end of the year. More likely resigns by fall, if not sooner.”
He was not alone. David Letterman said on The Howard Stern Show Wednesday that “it’s time to go… It was an experiment. We put an outsider in the office. Well, it hasn’t worked. Just resign.” And Former Vice President Al Gore had similar thoughts on Trump’s time in office. During an interview released Thursday from LADbible, Gore gave this simple advice to Trump: “resign.”
Mashable tried to drive this “Trump will resign” narrative home by talking to some oddsmakers:
But how likely is a Trump resignation? Pretty likely, according to the bookies.
“We make it 6/4 that Trump will resign, so a chance of roughly 40%,” Paddy Power’s Head of Trump Betting Joe Lee initially said on Thursday. However, that was cut to evens, which means it’s a 50/50 chance, by Friday as Trump’s insane week continued. When he was inaugurated, the odds of Trump resigning before the end of his first term would have been 7/1, Price said. What a difference nine insane months makes.
It’s been longer than 9 months since Trump was inaugurated, but this isn’t really a fact-based story, so whatever.
Ladbrokes is also setting the chances that Trump will leave office either through impeachment or resignation before the end of his first term at 50/50.
50/50 odds doesn’t mean that there’s a good chance Trump will resign, it means the bookmakers don’t really have a strong opinion either way. Maybe he will resign and maybe he won’t. The guys taking bets on this don’t won’t to expose themselves to any risk on something like this. I’m sure these are the same guys who took a bath when Trump busted the odds and was elected President in the first place. These odds mean nothing.
Then there’s the problem with: why the hell would Trump resign? He’s f*cking killing it as President. The economy is kicking ass, he’s making fairer new trade deals, and bringing peace to the world. Just because liberals don’t like what he’s doing doesn’t mean he isn’t achieving greatness. In fact, liberals being mad at what Trump is doing is all the proof you need to know he’s on the right track.
This is just another pathetic ploy by the left for a do-over on the 2016 election. They are so delusional and self-absorbed that they think if they keep saying Trump is going to resign that he will.
