California Rep. Maxine Waters called on her supporters to harass Trump administration officials in public, but Corey Booker has one-upped her. The New Jersey Senator wants his minions to physically attack members of Congress. Considered (sadly) as one of the Democratic Party’s frontrunners for 2020, Booker could certainly use this in his eventual presidential run. How sweet would “Punch a Congressman In The Face” look on a bumper sticker?
There’s not much context for this video, but none is needed:
Democrat Senator Cory Booker (NJ) encouraged activists on Wednesday to engage in physical confrontation with politicians, telling them to “get up in the face of some congresspeople.” pic.twitter.com/GfGzusxTJ5

“Before I end, that’s my call to action here. Please don’t just come here today and then go home. Go to the Hill today. Get up in, please, get up in the faces of some Congresspeople,” said Booker.
Perhaps he should have clarified these remarks a bit more because as it stands he’s telling his followers to physically assault members of Congress. Then again, he is a democrat so he probably meant it like this. I don’t have any problem believing that Corey Booker wants people to assault elected representatives.
I also noticed that he didn’t say which members of Congress should be attacked, but I think that’s it’s implied he wants his followers going after Republicans. Verbal criticism of a democrat is considered a hate crime, but physically attacking Republicans is both protected free speech and patriotism, according to the left. Booker, like all other liberals, thinks violence against people with a different point of view is an important element in preserving our democracy.
One of the cool things about being a liberal is never being held accountable for one’s actions. Even if someone does attack a Republican Senator or Rep. and admits that Booker’s violent rhetoric inspired the attack, the liberal media will never blame the NJ Senator. When someone in a MAGA hat jaywalks, the liberal media calls it a Trump-inspired crime wave, but if a Bernie Bro shoots up a baseball field full of Republicans, it’s the NRA’s fault.
The only thing that’s going to save Booker from having to deny he inspired violence against Republicans is that nobody really likes him or even knows who he is. It’s kind of hard to inspire someone when you are as uninspirational and unknown as Corey Booker. The democrats and the media consider him a front runner for the Democratic Party nomination in 2020, but most voters respond “who?” in polls regarding possible candidates.
What makes this the most “democratic” thing ever is that Booker is a US Senator and was elected to represent the people, but he’s basically saying he can’t do anything for his constituents. Rather than him working for the people he’s being lazy and telling them to go attack Republicans to get what they want. In reality he’s making a pretty good case for why he shouldn’t be in office at all.
This may seem like an extreme thing to say, but it’s business as usual for liberals. They can’t work within the system nor can they argue their positions, so it’s all profanity and violence. There’s usually a step that involves calling people “Nazis” but Booker skipped that and went right to the assault. Once again, he seems very lazy.
