In May of 1971 The Rolling Stones released the song “Brown Sugar.” It shot up to #1 in almost every country in the world and is considered by lefty music mag Rolling Stone to be one of the greatest rock songs of all time. On August 30, 2018 NBC suddenly decided that this classic song is racist because it was being played before a Trump rally. That’s just how damn racist the President is. He can transform a song into a racist anthem 47 years after its initial release.
President Trump held a rally in Indiana on Thursday and NBC sent reporter Jonathan Allen to cover it. He was obviously given instructions to play up Trump’s “racism” because this is one of the first things he tweeted about:
Here are the lyrics to the Rolling Stones’ ‘Brown Sugar,’ which is playing at the Trump rally right now. pic.twitter.com/iZ9tpf0D1N

OMG! There was a Rolling Stones song playing before a Trump rally? Allen obviously sent this tweet along with the lyrics to imply that the President is white supremacist. Why else would he post this?
Allen wants people to look at these lyrics and a have a hysterical reaction that Trump is pro-slavery or something, which is completely asinine. Did I mention that Allen is one of NBC’s top White House correspondents? This is what the network considers fair coverage of President Trump.
The thing is, Brown Sugar isn’t a racist song or even about slavery. Mick Jagger was writing about his secret girlfriend and mother of his love child, who happened to be a black woman. It’s also possible Jagger had another black lover in mind when penning the lyrics. It’s a song about how Mick Jagger likes having sex with black women. If NBC has a problem with that, they should take it up with the Rolling Stones not Donald Trump.
Allen’s tweet was met with lot’s of backlash, because of it’s sheer stupidity, so he tried to clarify himself (cover his ass).
The playlist tonight has some variations from the normal Trump rally playlist, and while I’ve heard the Stones at his rallies before, I don’t think I’ve heard ‘Brown Sugar’ before. Could be a new playlist or someone other than the campaign controlling the music. https://t.co/SsqnUTPhd3

See, he wasn’t implying that Trump is racist for playing this song, he just think’s it was weird because he never heard this particular tune at any other Trump rallies. It doesn’t explain why he tweeted out the lyrics too, but he’s lying so it doesn’t really matter.
What makes this even dumber is, Brown Sugar was not a part of the rally production. Trump didn’t take the stage with a couple of black strippers on his arms while the song blasted, it was played over the PA before the rally even started. It was one of many random songs that were played.
I understand that as an activist Resistance reporter Jonathan Allen is under immense pressure to attack, demonize, and discredit President Trump at every opportunity, but this wasn’t close to being legitimate.
Also apparently Trump let Allen down by not saying anything he could clutch his pearls over. In fact, this seems to be the highlight of the rally for Allen:
Protester gives crowd the finger as she’s led away from Trump rally

How much do you want to bet that “protester” was another lefty reporter like Allen? Maybe it was even CNN’s Jim Acosta.
There are many facets to fake news and this is one of them. The left has developed a narrative that President Trump is a white supremacist but the problem is, there isn’t any actual proof of his racism, so they make up crap like this.
