Following the Las Vegas shooting there were two kinds of reactions from the left: Some exploited the tragedy to push gun control laws that wouldn’t have stopped the shooting and other just celebrated the carnage because most of the dead were white conservative country music fans. A Vegan food truck owner from Pennsylvania falls more in the later category as she is stoked that a bunch of meat eaters were killed. What’s the matter with these people?
The Times Leader reports that Delinda Jensen made an inexcusable Facebook post on Monday in reaction to a shooting that took 58 lives and wounded more than 500 other people.
In a now deleted post she wrote, “Yes I am jaded. Fifty nine meat eaters dead. How many animals will live because of this?” (she included the shooter in in body count)
As if that wasn’t bad enough, she added, “I don’t give a (expletive) about carnists anymore.”
As you can imagine people didn’t exactly react to this in a positive way. Jensen, who owns a vegan food truck in Wilkes-Barre, PA, says she immediately began receiving death threats and had to shutter her business. Of course being a radical leftist, she issued a half-assed apology thinking it would somehow erase her terribleness.
“I (expletive) up. Was it poorly written? Absolutely. Do I regret it? Yes,” said Jensen.
Are people who ask questions and answer them immediately themselves annoying? You betcha!
Also, in what way was this poorly written? A better question is, what is the proper way to write that she is glad a bunch of innocent people were murdered because she disapproves of their diet?
“Meat eaters or not, no one deserves to die like that. I wasn’t celebrating the death of those people,” Jensen said.
Um, she said she didn’t give a shit or f*ck about the victims because their deaths meant more animals would live. That’s pretty damn close to a celebration in my opinion.
“That’s not how vegans think — we are non-violent,” she added.
Okay, now I have to call bullshit. Vegans are radical vegetarians who place more value on cow lives than human lives. They commit acts of terrorism against the meat industry, the animal skin industry, and research facilities. I think if you do a poll of the Antifa terrorists who regularly assault people with differing opinions that you will find many of them are also vegans.
To prove that she is both insincere with her apology and thinks humans are less valuable than animals, there is this:
In trying to explain her motivation for writing the post, Jensen wanted to make the point that too many animals are tortured and killed every year — she estimated 20 billion-plus — and consumed by humans. Jensen, who became a vegan two years ago, said people can eat good food without the inhumanity of abusing and killing innocent animals. She said one vegan translates to saving 155 animals per year.
See, she was doing math after the Vegas shooting to calculate how many animals get to live thanks to the deaths of innocent “carnists.” That’s not being sorry of thinking non-violently.
The bottom line is this: at one point Jensen thought it was a good idea to put these thoughts on social media. She is only apologizing because there was backlash against her horrible points of view. People who are not heatless assholes don’t have to apologize for saying evil shit like this because they don’t think or say these things in the first place.
