A white Millington, Tennessee teen is serving a 3-day suspension from school after being the victim of what appears to be a racially motivated attack. 15-year old Ethan Humphrey was viciously beaten by black classmates on two different occasions and somehow that means he gets punished. Welcome to “Black Lives Matter” America.
The reporting on this very racially sensitive, but here’s what I’ve been able to piece together. Last week Ethan was walking to his friend’s house when a group of teens, most of whom were black, asked him to play football. Ethan declined the offer so naturally the teens beat the shit out of him. He was punched in the jaw and the back of the head by four to six attackers.
WREG reports there may have been some racism involved:
Ethan supposedly used the N-word, but several students said as he and the other teens were talking, he was just repeating what another student said, ‘that my (N-word) has my back’.
Ethan’s mother called the police, but rather than take a report or arrest the assailants, the cops told him he needed to stand up for him self and fight back. WTVM reports:
“The police officers told him Thursday night he had to fight back, but he said he didn’t want to, because he didn’t want to be kicked off the team,” said Humphrey’s mother.
His mother said those same officers told her they would inform the school to keep him protected the next day. The phone call, she said, never happened.
On Friday, one of the attackers, presumably a black one, decided to finish Ethan off in school. During Geography class at Millington Central High, a second attack took place. When the teacher stepped out of the room, the thug began punching Ethan in the back of the head. He then lifted Ethan out of his seat and body slammed him into a desk. Ethan suffered a concussion and a broken collarbone.
Guess what? The school didn’t take Ethan’s vicious beating very seriously:
What bothers her the most is after her son was severely beaten, he was placed in a wheelchair and never saw a nurse. She said the school did not call an ambulance for her son or give him any medical attention.
Adding insult to injury, Ethan was suspended from school for three days according to WMC Action News 5. I guess it is school policy to suspend students when they are hospitalized in racially motivated hate crime attacks. It’s unclear whether the attacker or any of the other teens that jumped him earlier in the week have faced any discipline. The news also reports that police have not charged any of Ethan’s attackers with a crime.
Try to imagine the national shit-storm if Ethan was a minority or gay. There would be so much outrage it would collapse under its own weight. Instead, this incident, like all attacks where white people are beaten by mobs of blacks, gets ignored and brushed to the side.
