A long time ago, celebrity atheist Richard Dawkins decided to disregard the Bible. Now, he has no moral compass.
That shouldn’t surprise anyone who’s been paying attention. Without the guiding light of spiritual influence, individuals are led astray by their own devices, often with inhumane outcomes.
A perfect anecdote of that is a recent tweet by Mr. Dawkins himself. First, he got the ball rolling by tweeting the following: “Women have a right to early abortion. Choice is theirs. Down Syndrome is 1 of the commonest & most moral reasons to exercise that right.”
For starters, the fact an atheist also thinks that killing an unborn child is nothing more than a matter of choice makes perfect sense. He’s divested himself of the foundation of virtue (in the West, that’s the Bible), so killing a baby for the sake of convenience isn’t something that he finds problematic.
Someone responded to his tweet by saying that she didn’t know what she would if she was pregnant with a Down Syndrome baby. Here’s how Dawkins replied: “Abort it and try again. It would be immoral to bring it into the world if you have the choice.”
So there you have it. If your baby has Down Syndrome, then you should destroy that baby while “it” is still in your womb and “try again.” Otherwise, you’re “immoral.”
Dawkins is a living testimony that more people need to embrace, rather than reject, Christianity.
