Welcome to the party, Mr. O’Reilly.
Last night, Bill O’Reilly opened his Fox News program with his usual Talking Points Memo segment. He started that segment with a question: “Were the conservative talk show hosts correct about President Obama from the beginning?”
He takes a couple of minutes to reach the obvious answer: Yes.
“You may remember that the radio guys pointed out that Barack Obama had little experience running anything, that he was basically a community organizer and theoretician,” O’Reilly said.
“Well, if you examine the facts without emotion, that seems to be accurate. Mr. Obama’s management skill and problem solving ability are dubious,” he said.
O’Reilly went on to cite the current VA scandal as an example. Barack Obama as a Presidential candidate promised to reform the VA and yet, when the scandal broke, the President did “absolutely nothing.”
He went on to list other examples of the President’s poor leadership skills, including the IRS scandal, the lack of border security, and foreign policy problems.
“You have an administration that is basically missing-in-action,” he said.
“It looks like the conservative talk show hosts were correct in their assessment of Barack Obama’s ability to run the country,” O’Reilly said.
