Just last week, President Obama was telling Democrats that they should embrace ObamaCare. It would seem that not all Democrats are taking that message to heart.
Okay, we actually don’t know of any Democrats that are taking that message to heart.
Stephen Lynch is a Democrat from Massachusetts[!] who told the Boston Herald, just last week, that ObamaCare is going to hurt Democrats this election cycle.
“We will lose seats in the House,” Lynch said. “And I think we may lose the Senate. I think that’s a possibility if things continue to go the way they have been… primarily because of health care.”
Did we mention that he’s a Democrat?
Remember, President Obama can say anything he wants to about ObamaCare because he’s not running up for reelection. Ever. Like, in his whole life.
So the President doesn’t need to face the political realities of the monster that he created (or, signed in to law — it was really Nancy Pelosi that created it). He can try to put lipstick on that pig all he wants, but the American people still see it as a pig and they’ll vote their outrage against members of his own party this November.
Lynch also said: “There’s all these taxes and fees that are the tough medicine, that up to now they haven’t implemented. I don’t know who’s going to do that. Maybe… they expect the next administration is going to put these penalties in place. I think that’s the time it’s going to hit the fan.”
We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
