The left-wing troll clown gets schooled.
On Monday night, Jon Stewart told his audience of Obamabots that certain abortifacients are not, in fact, abortifacients. Megyn Kelly tore him apart for that.
Of course, Stewart was commenting on the Hobby Lobby decision that was issued about two weeks ago. He did this on Monday because 1) He was on vacation for a couple of weeks and 2) Liberals are still seething over the fact that the government couldn’t force certain employers to cover four (4) types of contraception and he had to provide them with some emotional release.
Speaking of those four (4) types of contraception, Stewart told his audience that it wasn’t true that they can cause abortions.
Megyn Kelly, on her own Fox News program, played a clip of him saying that and then responded. She left him wishing that he had never made such a brazenly ignorant statement.
First, she noted that the government itself, in a brief submitted to the court, conceded that those methods of contraception (IUD’s, Plan B, and ella) can destroy a fertilized egg. This would be the same government that was attempting to defend the HHS mandate requiring insurance coverage for those abortifacients. This is also the same government that Jon Stewart loves because it’s not run by Republicans.
Oh, yeah. Kelly was also quick to point out that, lest you think that the brief was written by right-wing extremists who actually believe in the sanctity of human life, the government relied on the FDA as an authority when determining that those contraceptive methods can destroy a fertilized egg.
Finally, Kelly cites all four (4) the manufacturers of the contraceptives in question. In every case, the manufacturer notes that the product can, in fact, destroy a fertilized egg, thus ending human life.
That would be game, set, and match: Megyn Kelly.
In fact, we don’t think that Stewart even scored a point, or was able to return one of her serves.
