Tuesday’s Minnesota primary once again showed that the Democrats will tolerate any sort of reprehensible behavior if it advances the ball down the field in the war on America.
Outgoing Rep. Keith Ellison not only won the race for the state’s attorney general nominee but won it going away.
Politically undamaged from a late-breaking domestic abuse scandal that could still get really ugly, Ellison posted a huge win as he tries to make the leap from a congressional seat to the highest ranking law enforcement authority in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.
The DNC’s deputy chairman has denied accusations that he physically assaulted his former girlfriend and screamed “fucking bitch” and “get the fuck out of his house” which was divulged by the son of Karen Monahan in a Facebook post.
For what it’s worth, Ellison has also repeatedly denied that he holds anti-Semitic views and has downplayed his association with fanatical hatemonger Louis Farrakhan.

Rep. Keith Ellison won the Democratic-Farmer-Labor primary for Minnesota attorney general Tuesday night, despite allegations that he abused an ex-girlfriend surfacing just days before the election.
With 71 percent of precincts reporting, Ellison led a five-way field with 51 percent of the vote, according to The Associated Press. His closest challenger, state Rep. Debra Hilstrom, trailed with 18 percent.
Ellison, a frequent critic of President Donald Trump, has indicated he wants to use the attorney general office as a platform to oppose Trump’s policies.
“No one — not even a president — is above the law,” he said in June, when he announced he was forgoing re-election to his 5th District seat to run for state attorney general.
Ellison denied that he was abusive to former girlfriend Karen Monahan after her 25-year-old son, Austin Aslim Monahan, wrote a critical post on Facebook Saturday.
The younger Monahan wrote that he discovered a video on his mother’s computer that showed Ellison “dragging my mama off the bed by her feet, screaming and calling her a ‘f—ing bitch’ and telling her to get the f— out of his house.”
Ellison confirmed that he’d had a relationship with Karen Monahan in a statement on Sunday but denied the allegations.
it was a boffo night for anti-Semites in Minnesota.
In addition to Ellison’s big win, a Muslim woman took the primary to fill the congressional seat that Ellison is vacating in
Little Somalia Minneapolis.
Via The Intercept which has become a cheerleader for extreme-left, socialist and especially Muslim politicians:
Minnesota State Rep. Ilhan Omar scored a convincing victory in the state’s 5th Congressional District on Tuesday night, emerging with a nearly 18-point win over former House Speaker Margaret Anderson Kelliher.
Attorney General Lori Swanson, after leading in the polling for the Democratic nomination, lost badly, finishing third behind U.S. Rep. Tim Walz–who secured the nomination–and Erin Murphy, a progressive who finished surprisingly strong.
Rep. Keith Ellison, meanwhile, handily won the nomination to replace Swanson as state attorney general, despite facing last-minute allegations of abuse from his former partner, Karen Monahan, which Ellison denied.
A record number of voters cast ballots in the primary in the 5th District, which includes all of Minneapolis. Out of some 130,000 ballots cast, Omar went home with more than 62,000 to Kelliher’s 39,000, with just a few precincts left to count. By contrast, in 2016, about 44,000 voters participated in the district’s Democratic primary, and 362,000 voted in the general election.
Whether Ellison is able to win his race in November depends a lot on how his abuse scandal plays out and how it impacts the decisions of swing voters and independents which don’t have a cultish devotion to candidates like kooky Keith like rank and file Democrats do.
