It was thanks to bombastic outsider Donald J. Trump that America was spared from a third Bush presidency when the successful businessman made mincemeat out of John Ellis Bush during the 2016 GOP primaries.
The now President Trump tormented the bespectacled former governor of Florida on debate stages and via Twitter and the man who many believed was a sure thing to restore the Bush family dynasty slinked off whimpering with his tail between his legs following months of pummeling by Trump.
Many were shocked and horrified at how the iconoclastic businessman tore “low energy” Jeb’s balls off and then wiggled then in his face and none more so than other members of the Bush family who never forgave him for it.
The Bush clan didn’t go to the lengths that the spiteful John McCain who publicly stated that he banned Trump from his funeral but family matriarch Barbara Bush struck at the POTUS from the grave with uncomplimentary comments from her posthumously released book The Matriarch: Barbara Bush and the Making of an American Dynasty.
The media which has deified the Bushes as well as the liberals who despised them before Trump is having great fun with the former First Lady blaming him for giving her a heart attack.
Details from new Barbara Bush book:
*Bush blamed Trump for her heart attack.
*She said by today's terms, with Trump's rise, she would not classify herself as a Republican.
*Bush kept Trump Countdown clock. It sat next to her bed until the day she died.https://t.co/pRm03E9RQ9

Via USA Today:
Barbara Bush blamed Donald Trump for her heart attack.
It wasn’t technically a heart attack, though she called it that. It was a crisis in her long battle with congestive heart failure and chronic pulmonary disease that hit her like a sledgehammer one day in June 2016. An ambulance was called to take her to the hospital. The two former presidents who had been at home with her that day, her husband and her oldest son, trailed in a car driven by the Secret Service. The tumultuous presidential campaign in general and Trump’s ridicule of son Jeb Bush in particular had riled her. “Angst,” she told me.
Afterward, Jeb, whose presidential campaign was already history, urged her to let it go, to focus on herself and have faith in the country.
“Jeb said, ‘Mom, don’t worry about things you can’t do anything about,’ ” Barbara Bush recalled. “He’s right. Just do good, make life better for someone else.”
But Mrs. Bush didn’t listen and carried her hatred for Trump with her until the day that she passed away last year at the age of 92.
As for Trump, he summed it up perfectly as usual:

“I have heard that she was nasty to me, but she should be. Look what I did to her sons,” Trump told the Washington Times.
That shrieking noise that you are hearing is the outrage mob being led by the liberal hypocrites who never had one damned good thing to say about Barbara Bush when she was above ground.
