Hollywood is filled with liberal freaks, flakes, and loons but few have had the staying power of Barbara Streisand.
The showbiz diva is as close as it comes to royalty with liberals and the septuagenarian entertainer’s words are revered by many on the left as if they were spoken by God himself.
Batty Babs carries enormous clout and like so many other celebs, she despises President Trump and some would argue, she doesn’t think much of America either.
Like many of the entitled sanctimonious snobs who serve as opinion leaders for the political left, Streisand was quick to jump on last week’s horrific slaughter at two New Zealand mosques to promote her radical ideas here at home and one of them is contempt for the U.S. Constitution- specifically the Second Amendment.
Streisand hailed the fascistic move by New Zealand’s leftist Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern to invoke the Rahm Emanuel maxim of never letting a good crisis “go to waste” when she used what was a terrorist attack by a deranged lunatic as the impetus to confiscate guns from law-abiding citizens of the South Pacific island nation.
She also bemoaned that such measures haven’t been taken yet in the USA.
Why can’t our country act as fast as New Zealand to remove military weapons from the hands of civilians?? Simple: the gun lobby runs the GOP. https://t.co/f3HGI3W4HM

The longtime liberal activist and outspoken Hillary dead-ender tweeted:
“Why can’t our country act as fast as New Zealand to remove military weapons from the hands of civilians?? Simple: the gun lobby runs the GOP”
She wasn’t the only celebrity to similarly exploit a tragedy that happened on the other side of the world to push their mania for domestic disarmament:
It took #NewZealand less than a week to ban military style assault weapons, magazines and parts that modify those weapons. Not the deaths of 20 children at Sandy Hook nor over 2000 deaths that followed could move us to do the same. How and when will we face our own heartlessness?

What a true world leader looks like. The prime minister of New Zealand put on a hijab, said “They are us,” announced the gun laws we’re going to change and called out white supremacists, haters and Donald Trump. She’s 38. SHE. https://t.co/X8lmFCP01k pic.twitter.com/lv9Zlze2dz

“Ms. Ardern’s plan for immediate gun policy changes, announced six days after a mass shooting, stands in stark contrast to the stalemate and resistance to change that has stymied similar calls for restrictions on firearms in the United States.” https://t.co/wGFemRXMWE

Some would say that such calls for Draconian gun control measures are more than a bit hypocritical for those who make their living in an industry that has long produced fare that not only glorifies violence but sends a message that it’s cool too.
And Hillary herself also lined up on the side of the gun grabbers:
Under @jacindaardern's leadership, New Zealand has banned assault rifles and military-style semi-automatic weapons just six days after the Christchurch mosque attacks.

Never mind that Streisand is nuttier than a squirrel turd as her controversial defense of two adults who allege that they were sexually molested by pop superstar Michael Jackson when they were children made evident.
Barbra Streisand says Michael Jackson’s accusers were ‘thrilled to be there’ and his ‘sexual needs were his sexual needs’
“You can say ‘molested,' but those children…both married and they both have children, so it didn’t kill them," she said.https://t.co/Bt8Rxr5Jq3

Not that any more evidence is needed but celebs are the LAST people whose opinions should be given credibility – especially when the one spewing the nonsense is Barbara Streisand.
