As the headquarters of The Resistance wrestles with its proper place in the United States Of America, an innovative proposal has gathered enough petition signatures to appear on the November ballot.
Voters will now have the opportunity to approve or disapprove of the “Three Californias” measure that would divide the Golden State into three parts. The idea was the brainchild of venture capitalist Tim Draper and with the gathering of 420,000 valid signatures, it was given the green light to proceed.
There have been a number of similar ideas from splitting California into six separate parts to the more radical CalExit which would have the entire state seceding from the rest of the nation.
The Cal 3 initiative proposes the separation as:
Northern California: 40 counties from Santa Cruz to the Oregon border, including the Bay Area, the Sacramento region and parts of the San Joaquin Valley.
Southern California: Fresno, Imperial, Inyo, Kern, Kings, Madera, Mono, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Tulare counties.
California: Los Angeles, Monterey, San Benito, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.
Such a division would give the anti-American celebs in the greater Los Angeles area their own state to do with as they please.

Via The San Francisco Chronicle “Measure to split California into three states qualifies for November ballot”:
Voters will get a chance to decide whether three Californias are better than one now that an initiative calling for California to be split into three separate states will be on the November ballot.
Tim Draper, a Bay Area venture capitalist, bankrolled the effort and turned in far more than the 365,880 valid signatures needed to put the measure, known as the Cal 3 initiative, on the ballot. The signature verification was completed Tuesday.
“This is a chance for three fresh approaches to government,” Draper said in an April interview, just before he filed the signatures with the state. “Three new states could become models not only for the rest of the country, but for the whole world.”
The initiative is being fiercely opposed by the left because the Democrats are benefiting from the status quo that has allowed them to maintain a stranglehold on government and to run Sacramento in manner that is reminiscent of the old Soviet Politburo under Stalin.
A countermeasure #NoCABreakup is already underway:
California government can do a better job addressing the real issues facing the state, but this measure is a massive distraction that will cause political chaos and greater inequality." — @stevenmaviglio spokesman for OneCalifornia, committee opposing #3Cal

The split is highly unlikely to come to fruition though because the power-drunk Democrats aren’t going to simply lay back and let their cultural Marxist kingdom be divided and conquered.
