When shoe and athletic apparel giant Nike decided to go full SJW with their “Just Do It” ad campaign glorifying a cop-hating former quarterback with anti-American ideas it was betting big that it could tap into the anti-Trump gold rush.
Colin Kaepernick isn’t on a football field this week but he will be in the heads and living rooms of all Americans who still bother to tune into the toxic product put out by the National Football League.
Kaepernick himself tweeted out the first major ad which aired before Thursday’s NFL season opener between the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles and the Atlanta Falcons.
The ad ran during the game but fans had enough notice to “just don’t do” it by turning on their televisions and the game’s ratings were the worst EVER for a Thursday night season opener.
