This past week it was reported that Bernie Sanders was preparing for another run for the White House in 2020 and the cagey old closet communist is refining his stump speech over the weekend in California.
Crazy Bernie has steadily developed a band of loyalists, a coalition of aging hippies, bong pounding potheads, millennial moonbats and most of all, chiselers who have been bamboozled over promises of free stuff and a national $15 minimum wage. Comrade Sanders has also recently called for government jobs for all although he has never provided any details on that pie in the sky proposal.
You have to give one thing to Bernie and that he is an opportunist. He used the focus on Disney over the “Roseanne” controversy to take his own potshots at the entertainment titan by blasting them for not paying enough to their employees. The snake oil of $15 an hour for unskilled workers (#BurgerFlippersMatter) remains a potent and alluring component of the Democratic party platform although it has been drowned out by identity politics and Trump hatred.
On Saturday, Bernie took his show on the road and went right into the belly of the beast in Anaheim where he set up shop like an ersatz Lenin in Red Square promising a worker’s paradise that never seemed to come to pass for those who ended up packed off to the gulags.

Via Los Angeles television station KTLA-5 “Sen. Bernie Sanders Meets With SoCal Workers Pushing for Wage Increases”:
The former Democratic presidential hopeful kicked off his tour at a rally and roundtable with Disneyland Resort employees in Anaheim, where unions are pushing legislation to increase wages for hospitality workers. The event got underway at 10 a.m. inside the River Church Arena.
Sanders lent his support to “union leaders pushing a ballot measure that would require businesses that have received subsidies from the city to raise wages to $15 an hour by 2019,” a news release from his office read.
“We are talking about a company that has received huge tax breaks from the tax payers here in Anaheim, but in addition to that, received over $1 billion in tax breaks from Trump’s tax giveaway to the wealthy,” Sanders told the crowd Saturday morning. “The time is now to have an economy that works for everyone, not just a handful of billionaires.”
The senator went on to tell attendees that Disney workers deserve more from their employer.
“Disney can not be a company which forces its employees into part-time work when they need and deserve a full-time job,” he said. “Disney has got to understand that its employees are not teenagers; that the vast majority of employees here are workers, many with families.”
We are joining Disneyland workers today to say: If Disney can afford to pay its CEO up to $423 million, it can afford to pay all of its workers a living wage. pic.twitter.com/BFWCfRGsQ8

While Disney’s CEO makes up to $423 million:
– 1 in 10 Disneyland workers have been homeless in the past 2 years
– More than 2 in 3 are food insecure
– 3 in 4 don’t make enough money to afford basic needs
This isn’t what Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck are supposed to be about.

We are here at Disneyland to say loudly and clearly to the CEO of Disney: Pay your workers a living wage, not a poverty wage! Your greed must end.

With the news that Hillary backers are getting behind Pocahontas for the Democrat nomination (she has a vagina) it leaves old white dudes like Bernie and Joe Biden on the outside looking in so look for Bernie to polish up on the Marx and take socialism as far as he can as a campaign issue.
Hey, millennials are all for it according to a 2017 survey that showed nearly half of that generation prefer socialism/communism to capitalism even though their education has failed to provide them a proper perspective on what happens in countries that go commie.
He also benefits from never being held to account for the fact that the Fight For $15 is nothing less than suicide for the workers who will be displaced by higher prices and automation and then they’ll really be screwed.
"While working at #Disneyland I've been evicted twice, I live on one meal a day. I work in one of the most beautiful rooms, and I feed these guests the most beautiful food. At the end of the day it goes thrown out…we get fired if we eat any of it" #stopdisneypoverty #FightFor15 pic.twitter.com/aNf6YmkYDc

For Sen. Sanders, he will be content to harvest the low-hanging fruit and could once again prove to be very meddlesome in the primaries.
