CNN’s outrageous spectacle of the nationally televised town hall pillorying of the NRA by manipulated young survivors, anti-gun fanatics, teachers and parents was as close a thing to the Orwell’s the “Two-Minutes Hate” ever seen in this country.
Actually, let me correct myself. The last seven days since an armed lunatic walked into Broward County’s Marjory Stoneham Douglas High School and massacred seventeen people in cold blood have been like Orwell’s “Hate Week” as described in his dystopian novel 1984.
The preparations for Hate Week were in full swing, and the staffs of all the Ministries were working overtime. Processions, meetings, military parades, lectures, waxwork displays, film shows, telescreen programmes all had to be organised; stands had to be erected, effigies built, slogans coined, songs written, rumours circulated, photographs faked. Julia’s unit in the Fiction Department had been taken off the production of novels and was rushing out a series of atrocity pamphlets. Winston, in addition to his regular work, spent long periods every day in going through back files of the Times and altering and embellishing news items which were to be quoted in speeches.
Late at night, when crowds of rowdy proles roamed the streets, the town had a curiously febrile air. The rocket bombs crashed oftener than ever, and sometimes in the far distance there were enormous explosions which no one could explain and about which there were wild rumours. The new tune which was to be the theme-song of Hate Week (the Hate Song, it was called) had already been composed and was being endlessly plugged on the telescreens. It had a savage, barking rhythm which could not exactly be called music, but resembled the beating of a drum. Roared out by hundreds of voices to the tramp of marching feet, it was terrifying.
It was not a discussion nor a town hall but a declaration of war on millions of law-abiding Americans that had all of the cordiality of a lynch mob or Leni Riefenstahl’s “Triumph of the Will.”
One of those who was lucky to get out of the building alive was NRA Spokeswoman Dana Loesch and she let it rip at the annual CPAC Conference on Thursday.

NRA Loesch Claims CNN Townhall Attendees Rushed Stage Screaming 'Burn Her'… https://t.co/MJ4iMXW81s

Via Real Clear Politics “NRA’s Loesch: I Wouldn’t Have Been Able To Exit CNN Town Hall If I Didn’t Have A Security Detail”:
NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch said Thursday morning at CPAC that she wouldn’t have been able to exit last night’s town hall on the Parkland, Fla. school shooting if she didn’t have a security detail. Loesch faced off with students who survived the shooting at a CNN-hosted forum.
“I want to make this super obvious point,” Loesch said. “The government has proven that they cannot keep you safe. And yet, some people want all of us to disarm. You heard that town hall last night. They cheered the confiscation of firearms. And it was over 5,000 people.”
“I had to have a security detail to get out,” she said of the Sunland, Fla. event. “I wouldn’t be able to exit that if I didn’t have a private security detail. There were people rushing the stage and screaming burn her. And I came there to talk solutions and I still am going to continue that conversation on solutions as the NRA has been doing since before I was alive.”
Loesch said the people who call Trump a tyrant are the same people who want the president to confiscate weapons.
“The government can’t keep you safe and some people want us to give up our firearms and rely solely upon the protection of the same government that’s already failed us numerous times to keep us safe. And then they also call Trump a tyrant but they say they want the president to also confiscate our firearms? Try to figure that one out,” Loesch said.
This was not the reaction that the media lynch mob was expecting, watch them unleash their school shooting survivor attack dogs now because they are beyond reproach.
If you don’t already belong to the NRA now is the time to JOIN.
