Now that the White House has stripped Obama’s knuckle-dragging former CIA director John Brennan of his security clearance after he used his media forum to wage a propaganda war on President Trump, you can hardly blame the other Deep Staters who found a lucrative career on cable TV for getting nervous.
One of those former intelligence community officials, Philip Mudd who served during the Bill Clinton administration as well as under George W. Bush completely lost it on Friday during a CNN segment where he was pushed by Paris Dennard and melted down in Brennanesque fashion.

Mudd was one of sixty Deep State operatives turned media pundits who signed a letter blasting Trump for revoking Brennan’s clearance.
If Paris Denard rattled Mudd’s cage, just imagine how the hotheaded “expert” feels now that Trump himself has singled him out and blasted him via his lethal Twitter account.
Just watched former Intelligence Official Phillip Mudd become totally unglued and weird while debating wonderful @PARISDENNARD over Brennan’s Security Clearance. Dennard destroyed him but Mudd is in no mental condition to have such a Clearance. Should be REVOKED? @seanhannity

According to Fox News, “Trump floats pulling security clearance of ‘unglued’ ex-FBI official Phil Mudd after fiery rant”:
President Trump on Monday floated the idea of pulling the security clearance of former FBI official Phil Mudd after he went on a rant on CNN over the weekend in response to the White House decision to scrap the security clearance of former CIA chief John Brennan.
Trump tweeted that he saw the clip of Mudd becoming “totally unglued and weird” during a heated discussion with CNN analyst Paris Dennard and suggested pulling Mudd’s security clearance.
“Just watched former Intelligence Official Phillip Mudd become totally unglued and weird while debating wonderful @PARISDENNARD over Brennan’s Security Clearance,” Trump wrote in a tweet. “Dennard destroyed him but Mudd is in no mental condition to have such a Clearance. Should be REVOKED?”
How’s that for throwing mud in Mr. Mudd’s eye?
There is nothing that says that former intel officials are entitled to security clearances but as we so often have seen when it comes to swamp creatures, there are different rules.
It’s like George Orwell once wrote in his book Animal Farm that as a critical take on Soviet totalitarianism: “all animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others” which is a fair analogy to the ex-government officials who cashed in.
But as with Brennan, guys like Phil Mudd also have an intense hatred for Trump and the temptation to abuse their security clearances to leak information that in their zeal to nail the president, could harm national security and possibly put lives at risk and therefore are mentally unfit to continue to have such access.
The usual lies are that Trump is punishing these “noble” individuals for speaking out and therefore violating their First Amendment rights but the right to free speech doesn’t apply to propaganda.
