Former Vice President Joe Biden is basking in glory as he positions himself as the anti-Trump for the 2020 presidential election. Foghorn Leghorn has a new book that he’s promoting and as a beloved elder statesman, the media outlets are rolling out the red carpet for him.
In recent days, Joe with the donkey teeth has bemoaned his decision to not run for the presidency in 2016, instead ceding the nomination to the “unhappy” and ultimately doomed Hillary Clinton.
But could it be that Biden is taking his Trump bashing just a bit too far? Some might think that’s the case considering comments that Obama’s right-hand man made on NBC’s Monday edition of the Today Show.
Old Joe seems to have a burr up his ass that Trump mocked the chubby North Korean despot Kim Jong-un for being “short and fat” which if you look at a picture, happens to be a fairly accurate description.
But to Democrats, the truth is akin to holy water thrown on Dracula and the hatred of Trump must never be dialed down. This is even the case if it results in defending a dangerous maniac who has threatened to launch nukes and incinerate his neighbors in Japan and South Korea as well as along the U.S. West Coast.

Former Vice President Joe Biden said in a Monday morning interview that President Trump’s recent rhetoric about North Korea’s leader is a “big mistake” that is “beneath the office” of the presidency.
“We are admired not just for the exercise of our power, but the power of our example. And it matters, the way we conduct our discourse. It matters, the way in which we talk,” Biden told NBC’s “Today.”
“Our leaders have impact on attitudes. And I just think it’s a big mistake and it’s beneath the office,” he added.
Biden was specifically asked his thoughts on Trump’s tweet over the weekend, in which he referred to Kim Jong Un as “short and fat.”
“Why would Kim Jong-un insult me by calling me ‘old,’ when I would NEVER call him ‘short and fat?’” Trump said. “Oh well, I try so hard to be his friend – and maybe someday that will happen!”
“I just think in a context of just — sort of — common decency,” Biden told host Savannah Guthrie.
Mr. Biden is going to have a very difficult time with the upcoming knife fight within his own party before he gets into a position of actually going mano a mano with Trump.
There is no way in hell that the radical left California high-rollers who dominate the fundraising are going to settle for anything less than the queen of identity politics Kamala Harris as a nominee. Nor are Bernie’s Bolsheviks going to simply go away although their aging Marxist leader will sell them down the river for a quarter apiece, just like he did for Hillary.
We truly live in strange and bizarre times when politicians are siding with the likes of Kim Jong-un over the legitimately elected President of the United States.
