Despite differences with leading Democrat Nancy Pelosi, Rep. Al Green is vowing to impeach President Trump if the Democrats win back the House of Representatives this November.
The former head of the Houston chapter of the NAACP, a leading Congressional Black Caucus crank and a buddy of anti-Semitic hatemonger Louis Farrakhan has dismissed warnings that such threats could serve to motivate Trump’s supporters to turn out at the polls and is going full speed ahead in planning what will be a public lynching.
The Congressional Black Caucus and it’s extremist allies have never accepted the results of the 2016 election and in the case of the CBC, appear to be furious that Barack Obama was term-limited by the Constitution and want their blood vengeance.
Along with crazy old Maxine Waters, Green has been at the tip of the spear for impeachment efforts. Green has no use for the Constitution and the standard for impeachment of “high crimes and misdemeanors” because he just wants to string Trump up because of his alleged “hateful discrimination against Jews, Latinos, Blacks, Women, and the LGBTQ community” all of which is utter nonsense.
Green made his promise during an appearance televised on CSPAN during a chat with host Pedro Echevarria.
Dem Rep.: We'll Impeach Trump if We Win Back House… https://t.co/ia003ssxHx

If Americans give the House of Representatives back to the Democratic Party this November, one of first things that will happen is the impeachment of President Trump, Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) said Tuesday.
“There’s a good likelihood there will be articles of impeachment” brought against Trump, Rep. Green said. “Here is a point that I think is salient, and one that ought to be referenced. Every member of the House is accorded the opportunity to bring up impeachment. This is not something the Constitution has bestowed upon leadership. It’s something every member has the right and privilege of doing.”
Rep. Green, who has been one of the most vocal proponents of impeaching Trump, made the comments during an appearance on CSPAN.
Here’s a transcript:
ECHEVARRIA: “If Democrats take back the House in November, what is the likelihood that Speaker Nancy Pelosi bring up an impeachment charge?”
GREEN: “I’ll let Speaker Pelosi address her actions. But here is a point that I think is salient and one that ought to be referenced. Every member of the House is accorded the opportunity to bring up impeachment. This is not something that the Constitution has bestowed upon leadership. It is something that every member has the right and privilege of doing. I am not sure that there will be members who are going to wait for someone else if that someone else, doesn’t matter who it is, is declining to do it. We can all do it. And I think there is a good likelihood there will be Articles of Impeachment.”
ECHEVARRIA: “Have you heard directly from the Minority Leader about these efforts of yours, specifically asking you to stop or hold back? Anything along that line?”
GREEN: “Well, I don’t think you have to ask me what I’ve heard. If you have read publications, it is intuitively obvious to perhaps even the most casual observer that she and I are in different places on this. I respect her position.”
It’s not only Green – who resembles a caveman with a ponytail – either but other Dems are busily hammering out charges more detailed than those of the CBC demagogue’s crude rants.
According to a story in The New Yorker on the coming Democrat civil war:
In Congress, there’s a surprisingly vigorous impeachment lobby expanding on the work that Al Green began. Steve Cohen, a Democrat from Tennessee and the ranking member of the Constitution and Civil Justice subcommittee of the House Judiciary Committee, has fleshed Green’s bare-bones proposal out into a full impeachment resolution. Cohen’s indictment has five counts. The first charges Trump with obstruction of justice, based largely on Comey’s account of how the President tried to restrain the Russia investigation and then fired Comey when he would not oblige. The second count, referring to Trump’s business interests, including his hotels, asserts that he violated the foreign-emoluments clause of the Constitution, which bars federal officeholders from receiving payments from foreign governments. In a similar vein, the third count asserts that Trump directed federal money to his businesses and hotels domestically. The fourth count charges him with abuse of power for his criticisms of federal judges and for his pardon of Joe Arpaio, the former sheriff of Maricopa County, in Arizona. The final count claims that Trump undermined the First Amendment by repeatedly attacking the news media. Like Green, Cohen is aware that there is not yet a consensus in favor of impeachment, even among Democrats, but he is determined to plow ahead. “It’s a moral decision to do the right thing, regardless of the politics,” he told me. “Sometimes going on the record against evil may not make you effective at first in stopping evil, but it can still contribute in ways you don’t know.”
Unless that “blue wave” fails to materialize, you can bet the far that these bitter freaks will impeach the legitimately elected president over trumped-up charges and it will be a media feeding frenzy unlke anything that we have ever seen before. Even bigger than the O.J. Simpson trial.
