Let it be documented that on Saturday, August 25, 2016, that the world became a far more peaceful place.
It was the day that the bloodthirsty old war pimp John McCain sucked in his last breath and went on to his great reward.
If there is any justice and if the Christian religion is correct about there being a place called Hell, then it will be in that fiery pit where McCain will while away his time in eternity.
Forget the buckets of sanctimonious slop that even his enemies are wallowing in After his demise, John Sidney McCain III was a treacherous, backstabbing son of a bitch. Despite the lip service that the rotten old bastard paid to “democracy” his involvement in a plot to nullify the results of the 2016 election showed that he was always a liar, a fraud, and a charlatan.
Right up until the final weeks when his brain cancer took a fatal turn, Old Blood and Guts was still tweeting his nasty missives at President Trump from his deathbed.
No, McCain had little use for “democracy” and while the role that he played in Operation Get Trump and the depth of his involvement in the Christopher Steele-Fusion GPS peeing prostitutes dossier has yet to be fully revealed.
His legacy is one of treason and not the phony “war hero” myth that he exploited for decades and which immunized him from any legitimate criticism. As a son of privilege as well as a Navy admiral, the young hotshot’s political career began when he was freed along with outer POW’s from the notorious Hanoi Hilton.
McCain was trotted out by the master of political cynicism Richard M. Nixon and never looked back on the road to being a fixture in the U.S. Senate and the preeminent media mouthpiece of the Deep State.
McCain appeared on Sunday morning television so much that one has to wonder whether after his mangy old corpse lies in state next week if it will be embalmed and propped up in a seat on Meet The Press next to Chuck Todd.
But the record of McCain’s military service has always been sketchy at best.
There were accounts from McCain’s fellow POW’s that contradict the “war hero” narrative and that he collaborated with the enemy to curry favorable treatment, thereby earning the derisive nickname “songbird” which he was never able to shake but when you have a media that has your back, those can easily be dismissed as conspiracy theories which they have been although audio of McCain’s pro-commie propaganda exists.
There are also two articles that are very long reads but well worth the time. One is an extensive essay by Ron Unz of the American Conservative entitled “John McCain: When “Tokyo Rose” Ran for President” which is of particular interest for links to some archival footage that has been cast down the memory hole.
The film clip is from a news broadcast from when McCain returned home and shows him walking on his own power – although with a limp – which flies in the face of that famous public relations shot of him shaking hands with President Richard M. Nixon while on crutches but the video footage contradicts the iconic image.
Even more damning is an extensive piece by Pulitzer Prize-winning Vietnam war correspondent Sydney Schanberg – who was portrayed in the movie “The Killing Fields”– reporting that Senator McCain himself bears some responsibility for leaving men behind in Vietnam. The Schanberg piece, entitled “McCain and the POW Cover-Up” is jaw-dropping and stunning and it lays out a damning case against the “war hero”. I excerpt the opening but go and read the entire thing and judge it for yourself.
John McCain, who has risen to political prominence on his image as a Vietnam POW war hero, has, inexplicably, worked very hard to hide from the public stunning information about American prisoners in Vietnam who, unlike him, didn’t return home. Throughout his Senate career, McCain has quietly sponsored and pushed into federal law a set of prohibitions that keep the most revealing information about these men buried as classified documents. Thus the war hero who people would logically imagine as a determined crusader for the interests of POWs and their families became instead the strange champion of hiding the evidence and closing the books.
Almost as striking is the manner in which the mainstream press has shied from reporting the POW story and McCain’s role in it, even as the Republican Party has made McCain’s military service the focus of his presidential campaign. Reporters who had covered the Vietnam War turned their heads and walked in other directions. McCain doesn’t talk about the missing men, and the press never asks him about them.
There is also the matter of what happened on the aircraft carrier the USS Forrestal in 1967 which the arrogant young hotshot may or may not have nearly sunk singlehandedly. Some accounts are that that “Maverick” was showing off.
A stunt (or a panicky reaction) set into motion a chain of events that could have inflicted a grievous loss that the Vietnamese never could hope to pull off. There were 134 sailors killed as a result and many more badly injured but McCain never was made accountable, thanks to his daddy the admiral. A post by a dude from the blog Man Talk entitled “Trump is Correct, John McCain is NOT A Hero” has some good commentary about the Forrestal fire. Had McCain been disciplined – like being stripped of his wings – for his role in the Forrestal disaster then he would never have even been shot down in Vietnam.
The questions on all of this were never answered quite simply because they were never asked but considering that the entire career of McCain was built upon his Vietnam record it is an example of how the media has been derelict in its duty for long before today’s era of fake news and propaganda.
McCain’s military “heroism” also allowed him to escape from the Keating Five scandal which would have doomed any normal senator’s political career. Once again, the unspoken “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy was used by the media so as to not muss up one hair on McCain’s head.
As the world became a more dangerous and profitable environment for the global arms trade after the events of September 11, 2001, created a state of permanent war, McCain became a globetrotting shill for those whose stock in trade was regime change.
But the capstone of his long career was the regime change right here at home after Trump unexpectedly won the 2016 election.
It’s probably a good thing that McCain checked out when he did because if Trump ever does get off of his ass and declassify the Justice Department documents that are said to show damning evidence of how the Steele dossier was used to obtain FISA surveillance on members of his campaign and later his administration, any serious investigation would inevitably implicate McCain.
This coming week will be an absolute orgy of saturation level propaganda and tributes to a man who has likely engaged in treason and any opposing viewpoints that conflict with hagiographic and dishonest portrayals of one of the foulest human beings to have ever sat in the U.S. Senate will surely be censored by Facebook and their Atlantic Council partners.
Even Democrats and the political left are oozing over McCain who thanks to his resistance to Trump, has had his image rehabilitated with a pack of rats who once called him every dirty name in the book, accused him of having a bastard black love child and of being a war criminal.
The uniformity of media coverage this week will be like something out of a totalitarian state like North Korea, just pay attention if you can stomach it.
As for McCain himself? Now he joins all of those in death who perished in the wars that he helped to facilitate to sate his own bloodlust and to line his pockets.
Senator McCain, it’s Satan on line one.
