One of the more vocal clowns in the big Democrat circus tent is quickly climbing down from his statement that President Trump is less responsible than Kim Jong-un.
Dems have seized on heightened tensions with the rogue regime in Pyongyang for their newest talking points, temporarily replacing Vladimir Putin with the porky psychopath ‘Lil Kim.
But as it always is with the Democrats, the party has been distilled down into a potent brew of demagogues, radicals, cynics and xenophobic conspiracy theorists with black Muslim Minnesota Congressman Keith Ellison being one of the biggest nuts in the can.
On Friday, Ellison drew attention for riling up the rabble at the 2017 Netroots bund rally in Atlanta by appearing to praise the murderous North Korean dictator which the crowd gobbled up.
But today, the DNC co-chair is singing a different tune after his comments only served to underline the craziness of a political party that should be collectively marched out of power and into an insane asylum.

According to the Washington Examiner “Keith Ellison regrets saying Kim Jong Un ‘acting more responsible’ than Trump”:
Rep. Keith Ellison, deputy chair of the Democratic National Committee, on Friday sought to immediately retract claims that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is acting more responsibly than President Trump.
“North Korea is a serious thing,” Ellison, D-Minn., told attendees at the NetrootsNation conference during a question-and-answer session. “You have this guy making bellicose threats against somebody else who has very little to lose over there. Kim Jong Un, the world always thought he was not a responsible leader; well, he’s acting more responsible than this guy is.”
Ellison immediately retracted those remarks in an interview with a Washington Post reporter after leaving the panel.
“That was one of those I wish I’d not said,” Ellison told the Post. “It’s tailor-made for somebody to misuse. I’d say, he’s being incredibly irresponsible, and he’s putting us in a situation where you could have an accidental launch.
It’s unlikely that the topic came up at Netroots Nation that it was Bill Clinton and Barack Obama who allowed North Korea to become that threat that it is today.
As the old saying goes – it is better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.
