Once a RAT, always a rat…..
Mitt Romney overcame his final hurdle on the way to taking up residence in the U.S. Senate where he will replace dying John McCain as a thorn in President Trump’s side. The Mittster easily won the Utah primary last week, vanquishing a man who actually lived there before the run for the retiring Orrin Hatch’s seat and with the actual election only a formality, Romney is on his way to Washington.
Mitt’s move to the sewer of corruption on the Potomac may be six years later than he intended after he gagged away a winnable election to Barack Obama but it’s better late than never.
The king of the Never Trumpers and a dyed in the wool R.A.T. (Republicans Against Trump) the former governor of liberal Massachusetts will be showered with love by the corrupt media and like McCain, will be a constant presence on the Sunday morning shows.
After some early niceties, Romney is back to his old tricks by hedging on whether he will back Trump’s reelection bid in 2020 during an interview with MSNBC’s Kasie Hunt.
Via “Romney: ‘Too early’ to say whether I’ll support Trump in 2020″:
GOP Senate candidate Mitt Romney on Monday said that it is “too early” for him to say whether he would support President Trump in the 2020 presidential election.
Romney, who last week won the GOP nomination in the Utah Senate race, has gone back and forth on his praise of the president.
“It’s too early to say who I will support,” Romney said while appearing on MSNBC. “I did say I think he’ll get reelected, that’s not an endorsement.”

It’s not exactly like Mitt is going out on a limb here with predicting Trump’s reelection, not with the Democrats hellbent at alienating large chunks of the population but there will be a GOP challenge by either Jeff Flake or John Kasich either of whom would be supported by Romney.
You just can’t teach an old dog new tricks.
