It could be that those calls for a black boycott of Waffle House over a controversial video were a bit premature now that another clip of the action leading to the police encounter with a 22-year-old has emerged.
The social media mob has been in an uproar following a video that was taken outside the popular eatery in Warsaw, NC and showed a police officer roughly treating the young black man who was still wearing his prom tux and the demands for the boycott were led by the daughter of slain civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the usual pack of agitators.
While both the restaurant and authorities claimed that there was nothing remotely racial about the encounter, the grievance mongers persisted as they always do whenever a similar video goes viral without any context of what led to the escalation.
Now we can see the events leading up to the Waffle House employees calling the cops as the young man and his 16-year-old sister were engaged in a heated argument inside that was ugly.

Via The Durham Herald-Sun “New video shows argument that led to Waffle House choking arrest of black man by NC cop”:
New video clips have surfaced from a student who says she was in the Warsaw, North Carolina Waffle House the night a 22-year-old man in a tuxedo was choked and slammed to the ground by a police officer. The clips offer more information about what happened inside the restaurant that night.
Kaia Johnson’s SnapChat clips show a loud, heated and explicit argument between Anthony Wall, his 16-year-old sister and Waffle House employees.
A waitress at the Waffle House called the police because of the exchange and Wall was arrested by Warsaw police officer Frank Moss, a video Wall shared on his Facebook page shows.
Johnson, 18, is a student at Wallace-Rose High School — the same school as Wall’s sister — and said she was at the Waffle House following the prom Wall escorted his sister to.
In the video clips, Wall’s sister can be heard accusing staff of cursing at her and both Wall and his sister curse at employees in the Waffle House crowded with other students who attended the prom. A female Waffle House employee is seen briefly with a phone to her ear.
The videos do not show what started the argument.
So, he’s not quite so innocent after all, is he?
When will Bernice King apologize to Waffle House?
