Today is D-Day for the Democrats and the so-called experts are predicting a colossal beat-down at the polls. They are likely correct in that this is the final chance for Americans to give Obama a good running drop kick in the balls before the bastard’s term expires. A few things however bear some mention before the polls close and foremost is what the hell happened to Ebola? Outside of a plethora of tales about the recalcitrant quarantined nurse Kaci Hickox the coverage of the virus itself has virtually disappeared. Now call me a cynic but it is pretty timely for the slim hopes of allowing the Dems and Harry Reid to hold onto the Senate that the media isn’t reporting on new Ebola cases. The reporting of the potential danger of an outbreak in America was everywhere as recently as a couple of weeks ago and now – POOF- it’s gone.
There is a reason why Obama didn’t pick an Ebola Czar with any actual medical experience when he tabbed longtime Democrat party hack Ron Klain who is a lobbyist. The real danger was never that the foolish policies of Barry and the boys were exposing Americans to Ebola but rather the political implications of it all. So the sudden departure of Ebola stories from the state-corporate media doesn’t pass the smell test. Interestingly the website of Forbes has a story that reports:
The Associated Press and other press outlets have agreed not to report on suspected cases of Ebola in the United States until a positive viral RNA test is completed.
That damning line is buried deep in the article so anyone can be excused for not noticing it – they aren’t supposed to.
That really stinks when you live in a country with a supposedly “free press” in that the media is so easily manipulated in order to assist the Obama regime at the polls today. But such brazen media interventions have become commonplace in this land of the formerly free and brave. This is even more so during the tenure of the president most hostile to journalism since Richard M. Nixon.
The Ebola evaporation nicely coincides with Obama regime spear-carriers attempts to paint Republicans as nothing but rank fear-mongers exploiting the virus for political gain. There is also a multi-pronged effort to push talking points about Obama’s miraculous economy as a column from the website of the Washington Post makes evident. The piece written by Jonathan Capehart is entitled: “Democrats’ mistake: Running away from Obama or staying home”:
What happens when Democrats run away from President Obama? They completely ignore the flood of good news that should help them make the case for themselves and the president’s administration. Holding Obama at arm’s length might rub key members of the Obama coalition (read, black voters) the wrong way. That said, if those voters use such political expediency by scared Democrats as an excuse to punish them by staying home they will be doing exactly what Republicans want them to do.
The unemployment rate is down. When Obama took office in January 2009, the rate was 7.9 percent. At the time, cnnmoney.com said that was the worst jobless rate since 1974. Unemployment would spike to 10 percent in Oct. 2009. The most recent unemployment rate (September) was 5.9 percent, which is the first time since July 2008 that the jobless rate dropped below 6 percent.
[The official unemployment is cooked to a fine fricassee and is total bullshit. It fails to take into account longtime unemployed or discouraged job seekers who have quit looking for work or those who either no longer qualify for benefits or never did to begin with. It would be optimistic to believe that it is triple what the Obama regime reports]
Gas prices are down. Fortune.com had the best headline on this last week: “Gas prices to drop below $3 for the first time in, like, forever.” According to the American Automobile Association, “After a streak of 1,409 consecutive days of a national average above $3 per gallon, the price for regular unleaded gasoline fell to $2.99 per gallon on Saturday, which marked the first time the AAA indicator had fallen below that mark since December 22, 2010.”
[Interesting how gas prices took a nosedive in the weeks running up to a critical election when Americans have been gouged for years and every excuse made for the prices being so high was invoked. Keep an eye on this because once the vote counting has been finished they should be headed up again]
The stock market is up — way up. Hours after Obama took the oath of office on Jan. 20, 2009, the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost more than 330 points to close at 7,949.09. On the eve of the 2014 midterm elections, the Dow closed at 17,366.
[The stock market is only up because the Federal Reserve has inflated the mother of all bubbles that is primarily a benefit to very few and to the financial gambling houses on Wall Street. The stock market is not a reliable indicator of economic health anyway but the shills in the press have brainwashed Boobus Americanus into believing this whopper for years]
The Capehart piece doesn’t mention Ebola but why would it if the intent is to make voters forget? Even Joseph Goebbels would be proud of this sort of chicanery although it is probably too little too late to save Obama’s ass.
So would the Obama administration bring in a lifelong insider and Democrat political operative as an Ebola czar specifically to manage the perception of the nation in the critical weeks prior to national elections? It would be about as likely as the manipulation of gas prices in order to present a rosy picture of economic rejuvenation that is about as real as Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny.
The Obama regime is absolutely shameless in what is a game of three-card Monte played in the gutters of the darkest alley in a Potemkin village. The suppression of Ebola news as well as market manipulation should be two of the top agenda items for investigation if the Republicans as expected gain control of the Senate today.

Ebola, the disease preferred by 10 out of every 10 liberals.
1) There is only freedom of the press when Obola SAYS SO. 2) if unemployment has gone down how come welfare has gone drastically up? 3) gas prices down due to FRACKING. which Obola is against. And 4) the stock market has gone up in reaction to the likelihood of the republicans taking the senate. So tell me in what world does this dipsh*t deserve anything but BLAME.
Excellent facts, Miss Casey, right on spot.
