The left and their media cohorts had barely finished their victory lap after the stunning resignation of Michael Flynn before President Trump recaptured the initiative.
There will apparently be a price to pay for the Obama loyalist leakers within the intelligence community who illegally provided surveillance intercepts of the former national security adviser’s private conversations with Russia’s ambassador to preferential sources in the media.
Trump quickly pointed out that the real issue wasn’t what Flynn said but rather that the law had been broken by Obama operatives looking to undermine his successor in a blatant act of sedition that is typically seen in authoritarian countries – like Russia.
The real scandal here is that classified information is illegally given out by "intelligence" like candy. Very un-American!

Now Trump has vowed that the leakers will be found and will be punished for their actions.
The spotlight has finally been put on the low-life leakers! They will be caught!

According to The Hill “Trump: Leakers will ‘pay a big price’”:
President Trump on Thursday pledged to punish people who leaked damaging information about the inner workings of the White House, including former national security adviser Michael Flynn’s conversations with Russia.
“We’re going to find the leakers and they’re going to pay a big price,” he told reporters in the Roosevelt Room during a meeting with Republican lawmakers.
The foreboding comments come one day after Trump blamed “criminal” leaks from the intelligence community for Flynn’s ouster.
“From intelligence, papers are being leaked, things are being leaked; it’s criminal action. It’s a criminal act, and it’s been going on for a long time before me, but now it’s really going on,” Trump said Wednesday during a joint news conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“People are trying to cover up for a terrible loss that the Democrats had under Hillary Clinton,” he added.
Trump’s aides, however, have said the president demanded Flynn’s resignation because the top aide lost the president’s trust by misleading senior officials about his talks with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak.
Trump, who praised WikiLeaks during the presidential campaign, has also been angered at leaked accounts of his phone calls with the leaders of Russia, Australia and Mexico.
In the article “Trump anti-leak drive could prompt prosecutions” Politico reports that once discovered, the leakers will be subject to severe consequences:
President Donald Trump’s threats of criminal prosecution over the flood of leaks that has plagued the early weeks of his administration may turn out to be far from empty talk.
By far, the most potentially serious disclosures in the view of attorneys who’ve handled such cases are the leaks of details about phone calls the U.S. government intercepted between Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak and just-fired National Security Adviser Mike Flynn.
“If somebody disclosed the contents of intercepted phone conversations to a reporter, I could see a prosecution, for sure,” said Ed MacMahon, a northern Virginia defense attorney. “That is plainly a felony.”
Leaks of intelligence-related intercepts are typically treated more seriously than disclosures of other classified information, experts say. There’s also a criminal statute directly aimed at that issue, imposing a potential prison term of up to ten years for each violation.
Trump needs to root out the rats and use them to set an example and that’s just for starters.
While the Democrats, the media and the disloyal rats embedded within the intelligence agencies will denounce Trump’s search for the leakers they are quietly shaking in their boots that their own roles in the subversion of the legitimately elected POTUS will soon be revealed as well.
One very big question looms and that is what did Obama know and when did he know it?
