If it keeps getting any worse the city may want to change its name to San Fran Sicko…
Following the announcement that a major medical convention would no longer be convening in San Francisco because of filth and safety concerns, city officials need to start seriously considering real solutions to the growing problems with homeless people and the accompanying ugliness that they are bringing to the streets.
After a maggot-gagging 20-pound plastic bag full of human fecal matter drew complaints when it was left on a sidewalk in the summer heat, an inquisitive journalist took a look at a city website to see how many such complaints were being generated and the answer is a shitload.

According to Dan Lyman of Newswars, there have been over 16,000 formal complaints lodged at sf311.org since 2013 which leaves one to ask the question of how many unreported incidents are there.
A website and related app that allows residents to request maintenance or non-emergency services from the city has received more than 16,000 complaints with the keyword ‘feces’ since August, 2013, and many pertain to human waste in public places.
Additionally, words and phrases synonymous with ‘feces’ are found in thousands more grievances.
Many of the complaints also connect the fecal matter to vagrants and homeless encampments – a sight all too common now across California.
Users can geotag the location in question, and also provide photos to support their claim.
It initially sounded much worse, the 16,000 complaints were thought to be for only ONE week but after clarification, the original story was updated.
Here are a few examples from the website:
And there are also druggie reports too:
Hey San Franciscans, elections have consequences and you have nobody to blame but yourselves for your city being a shithole.
