With the Russian collusion hoax now hopelessly mired in the mud, the Never Trumpers are left with little hope that they will be able to engineer the ouster of President Trump before the critical midterm elections.
It has gotten so bad that Adam Schiff is looking for naked pictures of Trump and so is the CIA if one is to believe conflicting reports that the agency gave $100 thousand to a shady Russian operative offering to provide a sex tape of the POTUS.
To sum it up, the opposition has now spent millions of dollars, received even more than that in free media coverage and even more importantly, wasted fifteen months on wild-assed conspiracy theories and panty sniffing rumors of Trump’s alleged sex flings.
But reinforcements are coming and the man on the white horse is none other than Willard “Mitt” Romney!
The man who ran such a horrific presidential campaign that he nearly single-handedly handed Barack Obama an additional four years to destroy the nation is getting ready to pack his bags and head for Washington and only the mere formality of a Senate election stands between him and becoming the left’s next great hero.

Via The Washington Examiner “Mitt Romney to announce Senate run Thursday on social media”:
Mitt Romney will launch his Utah Senate campaign Thursday morning with a low key announcement on social media, and will make his first public appearance a day later near Salt Lake City with a keynote address to a gathering of grassroots Republicans.
Romney teased his run for Senate in a Feb. 1 tweet, saying that he would have an announcement to make on Feb. 15. On Wednesday, Romney previewed his campaign again in a short Facebook post. Sources in Utah told the Washington Examiner that Romney that will officially jump into the 2018 Senate race with a digital announcement, rather than holding at a staged rally with supporters.
Romney for a couple of weeks has been scheduled to be in Provo on Friday to headline the Utah County Republican Party Lincoln Day dinner. Like most of the state, Utah County is heavily Republican. The region is also among the most populous and politically influential in statewide campaigns.
Romney is a beloved figure in Utah and isn’t expected to face fierce competition in the Senate race, either in the primary or the general election.
Here is Romney’s Facebook message from Wednesday:
“Stay tuned for my announcement on the Utah Senate race this Thursday. Visit [MittRomney.com] to be one of the first to know!”
The Mormon Romney will be seen by many as the fulfillment of the “White Horse Prophecy” which Wikipedia describes as:
The White Horse Prophecy is a statement purported to have been made in 1843 by Joseph Smith, Jr., founder of the Latter Day Saint Church, regarding the future of the Latter Day Saints (Mormons) and the United States of America. The Latter Day Saints, according to the prophecy, would “go to the Rocky Mountains and … be a great and mighty people”, identified figuratively with the White Horse described in the Book of Revelation. The prophecy further predicts that the United States Constitution will one day “hang like a thread” and will be saved “by the efforts of the White Horse”.
Goofy and increasingly unstable former Fox host Glenn Beck alluded to this during a speech back when he was campaigning for Ted Cruz in Utah.
It is unknown whether Romney himself believes in this – nor would he admit it if he did – but he certainly sees himself as the man on the white horse who is coming to save America from Trump, that much always been pretty clear.
Romney will assume a key role in the Senate as the penultimate Trump hater now that John McCain isn’t expected to be long for this world.
