In an age when teenagers think that it’s cool to eat laundry detergent nothing should be surprising but on occasion, a story that is so shocking comes along that it resets the benchmarks for unmitigated dumbassery.
Such is the nature of this horrific tale.
The viral video of a woman who goes by the name of “Lynn Lew” is grossing out viewers after she appears to get her canine to piss into a plastic cup and gobbles it down. Ms. Lew claims that guzzling the dog pee is a surefire cure for her acne along with banishing her feelings of shame and depression over the zit colony on her face.

Via The Daily Mail, “‘Now I always have this natural glow’: Woman drinks her dog’s URINE in a horrifying video, while claiming that it completely cleared up her acne – and can also ‘help cure cancer'”:
A woman has claimed drinking her own dog’s urine helped clear her bad acne in this horrifying video.
‘Many of you have asked me how I always look so good, how my makeup always looks so perfect, or how I always have this natural glow,’ the unnamed American woman says in the clip.
Using a plastic cup, the woman collects urine from her dog before drinking it in full during the minute-and-a-half clip.
The horrifying video appears to be real after the woman is able to chug the cup of urine right after she collects it from dog.
‘Until I first drank my dog’s pee, I was depressed, I was sad, and I had bad acne,’ the woman says after finishing the cup.
‘Dog pee also has vitamin A in it, vitamin E in it, and it has 10 grams of calcium, and it’s also proven to help cure cancer.’
Drinking dog or human urine is known as urine therapy, and it was a practiced form of therapy in ancient China, Rome, Greece and Egypt.
But experts warn about the impact the substance can have on the health because of the toxins and acids that can reside in the urine.
More from Newsweek which is about the right type of story for the troubled publication:
Critics bashed the video once it went viral, calling the act “infuriating.” Lew told Newsweek the benefits outweigh the negative response.
“Before I did this, I literally wanted to kill myself. After doing this and after seeing all the results, I strongly believe that this is worth every speck of backlash I could receive from it,” she said.
Lew said she’s been using dog urine medicinally for more than two years after reading a 1962 Harvard study that found antibodies in human urine. She credits the waste product with keeping her cancer-free, though she wasn’t diagnosed before she started.
If her dog doesn’t fill a cup with enough urine, she’ll take some from her neighbor’s dog instead.
“When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I want to do is take my dog out, take him for a walk, let him pee and drink my dog’s pee in the morning,” she said.
Lew said there’d be greater scientific evidence if pharmaceutical companies didn’t keep the results of medicinal urine from the public.
“It’s sad they’re hiding that from people,” she said. “You don’t have to spend all this money on medical treatments.”
WARNING: Not for the squeamish.
While the urine draw appears to be real, there is always the possibility that she is just another online opportunist staging a trick to make money off of social media traffic. Note that Facebook has no problem with posting crap like this but God forbid that a conservative dare to voice a political opinion that is contrary to Herr Zuckerberg’s army of censors and thought police in Silicon Valley.
It takes bonding with your pet to a whole new level. The only thing more disgusting would be if she had sex with the animal and who knows, maybe she does.
