The political left’s attacks on Supreme Court nominee are already stinking of desperation.
Highly regarded federal appeals court judge Brett Kavanaugh was immediately denounced by the Democrats as if he was Satan himself. The party’s lunatic fringe base is also already organizing the hate mobs for what will be a full-scale assault on the U.S. Capitol led by obese propagandist Michael Moore who vows to encircle the building to sink the nomination.
The demagogues in the Senate are all expected to ferociously fight his confirmation but when even trusty allies like John McCain and Susan Collins have praised President Trump’s pick based on his professional merits, it is going to be tough for the Democrats to legitimately thwart Kavanaugh’s being seated when the new SCOTUS term opens in October.
They do have the media in their corner but some of the early efforts to smear this fine public servant are already so ridiculous and petty that they are only serving to discredit the Dems’ efforts.
Like Pravda On The Potomac aka The Washington Post which just dropped the bombshell that Judge Kavanaugh used his credit card to pay for baseball tickets.
OH THE HORROR!!!
Brett Kavanaugh allegedly racked up debts that went way beyond buying some peanuts and crackerjack at the ballgames. https://t.co/hNbIXygPlB

President Donald Trump’s pick for the Supreme Court is a big baseball fan — and he racked up debts that went way beyond buying some peanuts and Cracker Jack at ballgames.
Brett Kavanaugh’s financial disclosure forms that are available for review show he reported up to $200,000 in debt he piled up on three credit cards — Chase, Bank of America and USAA — and a loan by the year 2016.
The Washington Post quoted White House spokesman Raj Shah as saying that Kavanaugh built up the debt by buying Washington Nationals season tickets and also attending playoff games for himself and a “handful” of friends. Shah said some of the debts were also for home improvements, the Post reported.
Kavanaugh’s financial disclosures show that he either paid off the debt or that the amount he owed fell below federal financial reporting guidelines. Shah told the Postthat Kavanaugh’s friends reimbursed him for their share of the baseball tickets and that the judge has since stopped buying season tickets.
Kavanaugh’s love for baseball is well known. His associates both in the legal sector and beyond describe him as a blue-collar, “Bud Light kind of guy” who enjoys the ballgames, and New York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman was among the 150 high school classmates who signed a letter in support of him.
Just leave it to the WaPo which has been the nexus of anti-Trump hate since 2015 and successfully took down another high profile conservative with a scurillous series of decades-old accusations of sexual misconduct against Republican Senate candidate Judge Roy Moore from several women who have since disappeared, along with the outrage which dissipated as soon as Moore was defeated in the election.
It’s not that racking up credit card debt to pay for pro sports tickets is unusual or for that matter, illegal. It’s just more nonsense published by one of the nation’s most influential newspapers to wage their proxy war on Trump by going after his SCOTUS nominee.
More per the WaPo:
Kavanaugh’s most recent financial disclosure forms reveal reportable assets between $15,000 and $65,000, which would put him at the bottom of the financial ranking of justices, most of whom list well over $1 million in assets. The value of residences is not subject to disclosure, and Shah added that Kavanaugh has a government retirement account worth nearly half a million dollars that also was not required to be disclosed.
“At this time the Kavanaughs have no debt beyond their home mortgage,” Shah said.
He said that Kavanaugh has assets of nearly $1 million between the equity in his home and his retirement account.
Unlike some of the other justices, Kavanaugh has worked more than two decades in the public sector and has not built wealth as a private lawyer.
“Judge Kavanaugh is a brilliant jurist who has dedicated his life to public service,” Shah said.
Prices for Nationals season ticket packages can vary widely, depending on their location in the stadium. Seats a dozen rows behind the dugout can go for as much as $6,000 apiece for an 81-game season package.
Some Trump haters are already peeing their pants with glee:
This is promising. Can’t manage a checking account:
“Kavanaugh incurred tens of thousands of dollars of credit card debt buying baseball tickets over the past decade and at times reported liabilities that could have exceeded the value of his cash accounts” https://t.co/u06kR9WKEZ

“In 2016, Kavanaugh reported having between $60,000 to $200,000 in debt accrued over three credit cards and a personal loan.”
A) Public servants shouldn't hold that much debt
B) This is not responsible behavior, regardless of who you are
C) Really? Baseball tickets? Sounds off https://t.co/7zFEAfKWEa

None of this does anything but makes the left and the Democrats look even more foolish than they already do and unless Rod Rosenstein’s prosecutorial investigators are able to dig up dirt on Kavanaugh in their upcoming witch hunt the Dems should keep their powder dry for the real fight when RBG kicks the bucket.
But these idiots have never learned to pick their battles.
