Now that the originally stated justification for the appointment of Deep State dirty cop Robert “Bob” Mueller to investigate “Russian” collusion has been exposed as a fraud as the former FBI boss’s reprehensible and anti-American witch hunt continues, the slime dwellers in the swamp have been screaming for legislation to prevent President Trump from firing his miserable ass.
To anyone with a lick of common sense and an even moderately functional bullshit detector, it has long been clear that Mueller was just a domestic version of Joseph Stalin’s notorious henchman Lavrentiy Beria whose chilling promise of “show me the man and I’ll find you the crime” was as much a damnation of the oppressive Soviet system as anything that Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn chronicled in his seminal “The Gulag Archipelago” ever was.
With Mueller’s scummy fishing expedition having finally been exposed as the totalitarian scam that it always has been when the special counsel ordered up a KGB style raid on the offices of Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen in attorney-client privilege was stomped on with a jackboot, the bipartisan Trump hunters quickly moved to put into place legislation that protected the American Beria from being fired by Trump.
One of the leaders of the drive was the wretched opportunist turncoat Susan Collins of Maine who always eagerly serves as a reliable “bipartisan” cover for the worst abuses of the rotten to the core Congress.

Despite the lobbying of Senator Collins, Republican Majority Leader Mitch McConnell appears to have put the kibosh on any formal legislation to immunize Mueller from being fired.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said Tuesday that the Senate would not take up legislation limiting President Trump’s ability to fire special counsel Robert Mueller.
“I’m the one who decides what we take to the floor, that’s my responsibility as the majority leader, and we will not be having this on the floor of the Senate,” he told Fox News.
McConnell’s comments come as Trump has lashed out at Mueller following the FBI’s raid on the offices and hotel room of his personal lawyer, Michael Cohen. The raid stemmed, in part, from a referral from Mueller’s team.
A bipartisan group of senators introduced legislation last week that would codify that only a senior Justice Department official can fire Mueller, and give Mueller or any other special counsel an “expedited review” of any firing.
Old Mitch is a man who plays his cards close to the vest and to his credit, has never really committed to Operation Get Trump. While that isn’t exactly a ringing endorsement of McConnell who is one sneaky son of a bitch, it is always a pleasure whenever someone stuffs a sock into Susan Collin’s mouth.
