The sharks are swarming following a demand by the politicized Justice Department for President Trump to fire Kellyanne Conway for saying mean things about 2020 Democrat presidential candidates.
When the DOJ’s Office Of Special Counsel accused Conway of multiple violations of the Hatch Act – which has been reinterpreted in Orwellian fashion – and insisted that she be fired, they once again succeeded in poking the bear as the department has repeatedly done with its baseless investigations into Russian collusion.
According to the OSC, Conway’s criticism of former Vice President and current Dem frontrunner Joe Biden, socialist crank Bernie Sanders and doltish Cory ‘Spartacus’ Booker was a big no-no and the media was ready to pounce on the latest ginned-up scandal even if millions of Americans are experiencing Trump Derangement Syndrome fatigue.
Following the calls for the senior adviser’s head, the White House quickly responded with an official statement that decried the “weaponizing” of the archaic and selectively enforced law for an “unprecedented” attack on her Conway’s free speech.
Even as jackleg Congressman Elijah Cummings quickly moved to launch another House investigation into Conway, the embattled aide scoffed at the ridiculous nature of the letter and report and now President Trump has come to her defense.
Trump took a break from celebrating his birthday to answer those who are screaming for Conway’s termination which he rebutted with a mere five words:
According to the leader of the free world, “I’m not going to fire her” and he also added that “I think she’s a terrific person. She’s a tremendous spokesperson,” as he once again dashed the hopes of the resistance for a cheap score in the political Game Of Thrones.
The president also hit the bullseye by calling out the left for their ongoing jihad to censor conservatives.
“They have tried to take away her speech and I think you’re entitled to free speech in the country.”

President Trump said Friday he will not fire Kellyanne Conway as White House counselor for violating the Hatch Act, rebuking the recommendation of a top federal watchdog.
“No, I’m not going to fire her. I think she’s a terrific person,” Trump said during a call-in interview on “Fox & Friends.”
The president’s comments came one day after the Office of Special Counsel (OSC) publicly said Conway should be removed from office, calling her a “repeat offender” who has flouted the law barring federal employees from engaging in political activity in their official duties.
The office is not related to special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.
Trump said he will “get a very strong briefing” on Conway’s Hatch Act violations, but suggested he will not recommend that she change her behavior.
“It looks to me they’re trying to take away her right from free speech and that’s just not fair,” he said.
Translation: Go To Hell!
As for Kellyanne? Ever the professional, she stayed above the scrum and assisted President Trump and First Lady Melania with doing the nation’s work by addressing the opioid crisis.

The usual suspects aren’t taking it well including Scott Dworkin, a Democrat party hack and one-time senior advisor for “Draft Biden” who put on his tinfoil hat and tweeted out the following conspiracy theory:
It’s clear Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ resignation announcement was timed to try and bury the fact a federal watchdog agency said Kellyanne Conway should be fired. Don’t worry, we will remind everyone tomorrow.

He also echoed what will be the cry this weekend for Conway to resign:
BREAKING: Trump just said he won’t be firing Kellyanne Conway for breaking the law. He’s acting like she didn’t break the law, like it’s a free speech issue. Nice try, lunatic. Absolutely ridiculous. He’s such an illegitimate criminal who should resign immediately. #FireKellyanne

There is already a petition being promoted which Trump will appropriately tread as bird cage liner.
Sign @CREWcrew's petition! If President Trump ignores the recommendation (of the Senate-confirmed Trump appointee legally responsible for enforcing the Hatch Act) to fire Kellyanne Conway for her egregious, repeated Hatch Act violations, she must resign. https://t.co/oRQVHJ2S6m

Try as they may, the deeply embedded Obama loyalists who still infest every nook and cranny of the bureaucracy aren’t going to be able to force Trump to abide by their demands.
