Oh no, President Trump is being mean to DICK Blumenthal again…
There is always much weeping and gnashing of teeth from the media, Democrats and their celebrity thought leaders whenever President Trump comes up with a new nickname for one of his political adversaries but he is far from the first man to sit in the Oval Office to do so.
Former President George W. Bush was famous for his catchy terms of endearment with some examples being “Turd Blossom” for political guru Karl Rove, “No. 3” for Speaker of The House Nancy Pelosi and whoever could forget “heckuva job Brownie” for Former FEMA Chief Mike Brown who was widely vilified in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
But there is great outcry whenever Trump similarly honors people with his inventive and amazingly descriptive nicknames and while the liberal punditry got lots of yucks over such immortal classics as “Lyin’ Ted” for Ted Cruz, “Low Energy” for the ill-fated Jeb Bush and “Lil Marco” for the not ready for prime time Marco Rubio – all opponents who he whipped like dogs during the grueling Republican primaries.
But the political left lost their sense of humor when Trump started tagging Democrats and members of the media with nicknames and one of them isn’t laughing much at all: Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal, the arch-nemesis of the president who has repeatedly mocked him and now has come up with a new one for the truth-stretching Senate Intel leader with a voice that sounds like he’s been snorting helium.
….left and right, he then woke up from his dream screaming that HE LIED. Next time I go to Vietnam I will ask “the Dick” to travel with me!

The president whacked “The Dick” after the senator called him an “unindicted co-conspirator” in matters relating to the Muller witch hunt which in layman’s means they’ve got nothing.
President Trump took aim at Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) on Saturday after the Senate Intelligence Committee member told MSNBC that a sentencing memo filed by federal prosecutors on Friday implicated the president in directing illegal payments to women who claimed they had affairs with him.
In a pair of tweets, Trump mocked Blumenthal for past statements the senator has made referring to his military service, which the president has frequently accused the senator of inflating.
“Watched Da Nang Dick Blumenthal on television spewing facts almost as accurate as his bravery in Vietnam (which he never saw),” Trump wrote Saturday afternoon.
“As the bullets whizzed by Da Nang Dicks head, as he was saving soldiers left and right, he then woke up from his dream screaming that HE LIED,” the president continued. “Next time I go to Vietnam I will ask ‘the Dick’ to travel with me!”
The new moniker is a variation of “DaNang Dick” which Trump used to mock Blumenthal for the embellishment of his military service to mislead Americans that he had engaged in heroics during the Vietnam war in a very Kerryesque manner.
So blatant was the Whopper by “The Dick” that even trusted fact-checker Snopes sided with Trump.
Blumenthal’s hometown newspaper The Hartford Courant was quick to rush to his defense:

Not that anyone will bother mentioning that “Dick” is traditionally short for Richard or anything (Dick Cheney, Dick Van Dyke or Dick Butkus) because when it comes to Trump, he continues to live rent-free in the noggins of his adversaries.
