There were many in the media that didn’t even want it televised but President Trump’s Tuesday address from the Oval Office where explained the necessity for border security made it onto the air and from the reviews, went over very well as a low-key Trump made his case.
Not only did Trump make the case that the scum of the earth was slithering across the border under the guise of being migrants fleeing for a better life but Chuck and Nancy were given equal time in the media and appeared in a bizarre sequence in which they looked like alternate versions of themselves that conjured memories of the sci-fi classic The Invasion Of The Body Snatchers.
One Resistance member however struck in Seattle where he grotesquely manipulated the president’s face during the broadcast and was quickly fired.
Via The Associated Press, “Seattle TV editor fired after altered Trump video airs”:
A Seattle TV station has fired an editor after airing video footage of President Donald Trump’s Oval Office address on immigration that appears to be altered.
The Seattle Times reports that FOX affiliate Q13 broadcasted video from the Tuesday night speech that showed a more orange-toned Trump with his tongue hanging out languidly of his mouth after making a statement.
The video’s filtered colors look more saturated and the tongue appears doctored.
Q13 news director Erica Hill said: “This does not meet our editorial standards and we regret if it is seen as portraying the president in a negative light.”
Hill also confirmed on Thursday that the station investigated the incident and fired the editor involved.
Resistance is futile!
