Perhaps one of the silliest, most overblown non-issues of recent years has been the liberal crusade to do away with restrooms that match the birth gender of the user.
Despite what all of the activists and culture warriors would like people to believe, there are just two real genders and they are very easily identified by what is between your legs. Democrats, however, managed to leverage the fervor of a minuscule but extremely noisy demographic to manufacture a campaign to throw open women’s restrooms to transgenders as well as the freaks, perverts and sex offenders who invariably use such controversies to their advantage.
There were orchestrated social media cyberbullying campaigns conducted by the mob against corporations to force cities and states into knuckling under to their will out of fear of being accused of homophobia and while the bathroom wars temporarily subsided, they are back with a vengeance in another election cycle.
On Friday, the governor of Vermont signed a bill that mandates all single-use bathrooms be for all genders which other the ones that God intended, could run into the thousands.
This AM, @GovPhilScott signed H.333 into law. Now, all single-use bathrooms in public spaces in #VT will be #genderfree. “This is especially important for kids in school who face anxiety and bullying while using the restroom," said Gov. Scott. pic.twitter.com/uTYODg5Q7Q

Via The Hill “GOP Vermont governor signs gender-neutral bathroom law”:
Vermont’s Republican governor has signed into law a gender-neutral bathroom measure that lawmakers are touting as a major victory for LGBTQ rights.
The bill, which was passed by a large majority in the state House last year and unanimously in the state Senate, requires that all single-user restrooms in public spaces be marked as “gender-free.”
Gov. Phil Scott, fulfilling a campaign promise, signed the bill into law on Friday and said that he hopes the bill will “send a powerful message,” particularly to kids “who face anxiety and bullying over something as simple as using the restroom” in schools, according to CNN.
“Vermont has a well-earned reputation for embracing equality and being inclusive,” he said, according to the Associated Press.
Brenda Churchill, a representative of Vermont’s LGBTQIA alliance, told Seven Days magazine that the new law, which goes into effect July 1, is a big step forward for all residents. It does not apply to bathrooms with more than one toilet.
“Every Vermonter will now have more opportunity to be able to use a bathroom,” she said.
The Governor is a Republican which shows that even the GOP in Bernieland is as much a leftist as Democrats are elsewhere.

Vermont lawmakers hope a new law that requires single occupancy restrooms be marked gender neutral can serve as a model for the rest of the nation.
Republican Gov. Phil Scott signed the bill Friday. The new law, passed with support from Vermont’s three major political parties, is the most recent development in a national debate over whether individuals can be required to use toilet facilities corresponding with the gender on their birth certificate.
“Vermont has a well-earned reputation for embracing equality and being inclusive,” Scott said at the bill signing ceremony at the Vermont Statehouse in Montpelier.
The new law takes effect July 1.
The upside is that the law is limited to the “single-use” restrooms, a far less sweeping mandate than liberals would desire but still it marks an important symbolic victory for LGBTQ ∞ activists in that it can be used to push for similar bills in other states and as a political bludgeon against the “homophobic bigots” who oppose it.
