Disgraced Hollywood power broker and Democratic party mega-donor Harvey Weinstein’s problems continue to pile up after the dam finally broke on years of abusing his power to sexually torment women.
With every new revelation of one of his victims, Weinstein continues to lose his aura of invincibility as more Democrats abandon him like rats fleeing a sinking ship.
The potential for big-time legal trouble led reports that the mogul would seek help for “sex addiction” in Europe but that has already set off suspicions that he would be pulling a Polanski like the pedophile director who has managed to evade justice for four decades after raping a 13-year-old girl.
Considering the flight risk, it is now being reported that an FBI investigation into Weinstein has been opened to prevent the possibility that he would do exactly that.

In an EXCLUSIVE Via the Daily Mail “Trump’s Justice Department moves on Harvey Weinstein and orders FBI to open probe over fears he will ‘do a Polanski’”:
The FBI has opened an investigation into Harvey Weinstein, DailyMail.com has exclusively learned.
DailyMail.com understands the move came at the behest of the Department of Justice, run by Donald Trump’s Attorney General Jeff Sessions, which instructed the bureau to investigate the mounting allegations leveled at the movie mogul.
While it is unknown whether the DOJ order came directly from Sessions, the move is likely to be seen in a political light given Weinstein’s friendship with Trump foe Hillary Clinton.
The move by the DOJ came amid rumors that Weinstein was planning on heading to Europe for sex rehab – leading to fears of a Roman Polanski-style situation where he dodges prosecution in the U.S.
However, the movie exec appeared to have a last minute change of heart and decided to travel to Arizona for treatment instead at The Meadows center.
Looks like the varmint has been headed off at the pass now that Arizona will be the new rehab site, perhaps he can ride horses for therapy like convicted Democrat sex-offender Anthony Weiner did.
The Daily Mail also reports that the globe-trotting groper’s sex crimes may not be solely domestic:
The FBI can both look at whether he has committed any federal crimes in the U.S. and prepare extradition proceedings if he remains in Europe.
Among the allegations against Weinstein, which the FBI is expected to examine, is that he forced Lucia Evans, a student who wanted to be an actress, to perform oral sex on him in New York in 2004.
New York State has no statute of limitations on rape and criminal sexual acts – its legal term for forced oral or anal intercourse.
Indeed, on Wednesday evening the NYPD confirmed that they had opened an investigation.
The Special Victims Division has been ordered to ‘endeavor to identify and locate and interview any potential victims’ of the Oscar winning producer.
‘He’s a super predator. His conduct shows he’s been at this a long time, and he’s a professional at it,’ another police official said to the New York Post.
Hollywood powerhouse Weinstein has traveled the globe promoting his movies and the belief is that he could have committed sex crimes in several countries.
So far five accusers have given accounts of attacks in France, while allegations of attacks in London have also surfaced – any of which could lead to charges there.
It looks like Europe is no longer an option but maybe he can have his buddy Barack Obama arrange for him to flee to French Polynesia, a place where the former POTUS has laid low himself.
