We just had some interesting votes in the Senate which should really make things clear as to where everyone stands. Just because someone has the label of being a Republican, this does not mean they are conservative or vote along the lines of conservative principles, either.
Lynch Another Rubber Stamper for Obama Agenda
The recent vote to confirm Obama’s choice for Attorney General is a prime example of why we need to pay closer attention to who we allow to represent us in the Senate (and the House as well). No matter what fancy speech this new Attorney General gives to try and convince us otherwise, under her watch the Justice Department is going to continue being a rubber stamp for the Obama agenda.
In fact, Presidential candidate Senator Ted Cruz has basically said as much in a recent statement:
“While Ms. Lynch has earned a reputation as a no-nonsense prosecutor, her consistent refusal to specify any limitations on the power of the President disqualify her from serving as our nation’s chief law enforcement officer…
In multiple rounds of testimony before the Judiciary Committee, Ms. Lynch would not identify a single instance in which her actions would differ from Attorney General Eric Holder, and she supported the Administration’s boundless legal theory to justify ignoring our nation’s immigration laws. In my view, this makes her unfit to be the Attorney General.”
Do you agree that Lynch is unfit? Or, should we have a continuation of the reign of Eric Holder and someone to continue rubber stamping the Obama agenda?
AG Vote Weeds Out RINOs
Amazingly enough, some twenty (20) Senate Republicans voted for cloture. Then there were ten who voted outright to make her AG. Sad, but at least we can finally see clearly exactly who sticks to true conservative values in the Senate…and who does not.
Heck, even good ole boy Jeb Bush wanted her to be approved as AG. Since he wants to be President, he doesn’t want to have any future limits on his executive power. Plus, we know by now that Bush is really the epitome of a RINO (Republican in name only, for those who haven’t heard this acronym yet).
So, when you look at the news and hear all those sound bites with the new AG saying how she is going to protect the most vulnerable, understand she isn’t talking about you…she means all those illegal aliens Obama wants to bring into the country. And understand she will do everything Obama wants, including taking away rights from American citizens in order to bring about even more hope and change. This is what we asked for…and now we are going to get everything Obama has promised.
Sad. What do YOU think about all this?
