It seems that our wonderful community organizer in chief just cannot make up his mind. He is not exactly sure why his policies and programs have either failed or are in the process of failing. So, his tactic is to blame everyone he possibly can…oh, except himself, of course. Surely, these policies and programs are in dire straits because of others, not due to the fact that they are, well, just poorly developed and simply do not work!
To this end, earlier last week Obama played the race card. He made no secret of the fact that he thinks a lot of people now do not like him because he is black. I get it. These would be the same people who elected Mr. community organizer in chief to the highest office in the country not once, but twice.
Now, he is extending the blame to a whole host of others. Primarily conservatives, of course. In the same article where he claimed that America is full of racists, Obama is blaming his failures on Fox News, conservative media in general, and Rush Limbaugh. He said that these groups are turning him into a “caricature.” Listen to this excerpt:
“The president also complained that conservative media had created a ‘caricature’ of him divorced from ‘reality’ that made rallying voters from those areas particularly difficult. The issue has been the inability of my message to penetrate the Republican base so that they feel persuaded that I’m not the caricature that you see on Fox News or Rush Limbaugh, but I’m somebody who is interested in solving problems and is pretty practical, and that, actually, a lot of the things that we’ve put in place work better than people might think.”
Honestly, it is hard to imagine that Obama’s goal was ever to really penetrate the Republican base as he says in the above quote. It is especially difficult to think that ideas like the IRS targeting conservative and Tea Party groups would help to penetrate the GOP base. How about the NSA spying on private citizens at the behest of the government? How about ObamaCare? I mean, after all, every Republican wants the government to become more and more involved in our healthcare and being forced to pay a lot more more money for insurance that actually gives us much less is every conservative’s idea of a good time.
We also learn from this quote that Obama is a practical person. Someone interested in solving problems. Really? Remember how he has arrogantly said that he’s “got a pen” and executive power that he will use if Congress does not bow to his every wish and desire? Yep, that is spoken like a true problem solver. I think that Obama must be cut from the same cloth as Russian strongmen Stalin and Lenin. Solve problems with an iron fist, I suppose.
This might also be exactly the reason why the majority of Americans view Obama as untrustworthy and dishonest. This is evidenced by new poll numbers released this week by Quinnipiac. Remember the trustworthy and practical Obama promising the American people that they can keep their healthcare plans? This is something the GOP never did. In fact the GOP, Fox News, and Rush Limbaugh actually tried to warn us that the exact opposite would happen…and now America is paying the price.
What do YOU think? Should Obama be blaming conservative media for his failures? How about his playing the race card? Is Obama just an excuse maker and simply is not able to admit he has made some horrible mistakes? What will happen to these policies?
