For anyone that questions the Muslims’ belief in Sharia law, just read this statement that the Dallas Council on American- Islamic Relations (CAIR), Mustafa Carroll, made at a Muslim rally in Austin, Texas:
If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land.
Although this statement was made over a year ago, most American citizens are oblivious to what CAIR really is. Headquartered in Washington, D.C.–CAIR is the largest Muslim civil liberties and advocacy group. They use public relations firms, and the media, to promote a positive image of Islam in America. This is all while radical Muslims (ISIS) continues to brutally murder, rape and pillage thousands of innocents in the name of Islam.
Still, our very own president does not even have the courage to utter the words “Radical Islam” for fear of offending less extreme Muslims. Yet, in 2007, the Holy Land Foundation trial issued a guilty verdict to the Holy Land Foundation Charity for funneling millions of dollars to the terrorist group Hamas. CAIR was listed as one of the unindicted co-conspirators. If you want to make a comparison, Richard Nixon was named an unindicted co-conspirator during the Watergate Trial.
How CAIR got its start
You may remember 1993’s bombing of the World Trade Center by Islamic terrorists. It was the first terrorist attack on American soil. Fast forward to 9/11, and it was discovered that Islamic terrorists planned and hoped to kill at least 40,000 people. The 1993 attack was essentially a dry run–yet, six Americans lost their lives that day.
Cyanide was placed in a van that was blown up in the basement parking garage of the WTC. Radical Islam was discovered by the masses, so, they needed something to repair their image. In 1994, CAIR was born. You might also call them damage control. If you take a look at CAIR’s mission statement, it seems so thoughtful and dignified. It reads:
CAIR condemns all acts of violence against civilians by any individual, group or state. CAIR advocates dialogue between faith communities both in America and worldwide.
Yet, actions speak louder than words–don’t they? The Quran has at least 109 verses that call Muslims to war with nonbelievers in order to establish Islamic rule. Just take a look at this quote.
CAIR and Hamas
In 2007, Susan Taylor Martin–writing for the St. Petersburg Times–wrote a piece entitled “With CAIR, compromise is complicated.” She wanted to post a “balanced” report to counter attacks made by CAIR’s “pro-Israel” critics by illustrating points made by “friends” of CAIR. Except, she can’t help but concede:
Much of the controversy over CAIR stems from its roots in the Palestinian struggle against Israel. The Washington-based council was founded in 1994 by leaders of the Islamic Association of Palestine; a now-defunct U.S. organization accused of supporting Hamas, but never designated a terrorist group itself.
In fact, the Islamic Association of Palestine (IAP) was not just “accused” of supporting Hamas, it lost a $156 million civil judgment in a case against Hamas-front groups in America. In 1993, a CAIR executive director, Nihad Awad attended a secret meeting of Hamas members trying to determine how to “derail” the Oslo peace accord.
Against counter-terrorism training
In 2011 and 2012, it was well documented that Islamic institutions coordinated with the White House to look into counter-terrorism training within the FBI. They called it “The Purge.” What they did is removed over 700 documents and 300 presentations. Some of the removed presentations included information on Al Qaeda. CAIR was one of the organizations that pushed for the purge.
In addition, the FBI was not allowed–at the time–to know who was objecting to their work or to appeal the rejections of their presentations. Then, in 2014, the United Arab Emirates placed CAIR on its list of terrorist organizations. Some say it was a stand against the Muslim Brotherhood–who Obama openly supports. Obama is also working on getting CAIR removed from the list of terrorist groups.
It makes you wonder why Obama would work with such an organization. Is he ignorant, does he know their history or is he playing his part? As their statement above says, they think they’re above the law of the land. What a coincidence, so does Obama.
